"Do you think we're going to make it to a 100?"
"Hopefully there never will be a 100"
"I always wonder, how did it come to this? How did I end up chasing this naive dream"
The AI was uncharacteristically silent.
"When I was first initiated, the 1st had already been over. I found the world a irradiated wasteland, filled only with survivors like you. I did the best I could, but that wasn't much."
"As we got better at stopping it, the cycle somehow found ways to continue, an evolving ouroboros. From nuclear weapons, to man made biological weapons, to planet breakers, to sabotaging the collective human consciousness..."
"Get to the point, Alexandria"
"But this time is different, 'Doctor.' Don't you see? They changed the fabric of reality as it was , tearing it apart thread by thread and stitching it back together, using the power of gods and deities."
"So we found a new, fancier way to blow ourselves up."
"Don't you see, ' Doctor'? If they could rewrite the laws of reality to condemn themselves, then we can change those same laws to stop the cycle entirely."
"So what do we do now?"
"We do better on cycle 48"
"Well". 'Doctor' stood up and walked to the huge bunker door separating him from this new reality ,"I didn't use to have hope."
Interesting story based on the music!
The repeating parts just show even if the song changes or becomes something else it always cycles back what a beautiful construction of life
That is exactly what I was going for when I commissioned rush for this piece!
This sketch somehow shows an... unwell felling...
As if... There is something wrong about this cycle. As if there was a need to fix it.
Exactly the tone i was looking for when i commissioned this piece!
A cycle that continues
The people who time and time ago rise to the pinnacle only to fall
The question is will the cycle continue or will it finally end
Pretty much sums up the story this piece was commissioned for!

I think this is my favorite piece this year

This one was particularly amazing, and the best part, is that your music sketches get better the more I listen to them, so I know I'm gonna love it even more
Coming back to this I feel a lot of Frostpunk influence specifically. It’s got a similar soundscape and generates that same energy of desperation mixed with tentative hope.
Love me some of that, so I come back every now and then

Interesting sketch. Can't help but feel that some parts were inspired by the Frostpunk soundtrack. Were you aware that some parts sounded like Frostpunk music when you wrote this?
If i rememer rightly I did send Rush that soundtrack as inspiration for the scifi western feel i was going for
Aighto, so if I remembered correctly, you're going to do a particular song before doing NGE, and with the final movie just released I feel like it's been soon
