- Ok, the odds are not in our favor. That's never stopped us before. This isn't the first time we've been pushed to our limit, exhausted and in pain. The world looks down at us with little care, and certainly won't offer up any favors right now. No plan, no strategy, and no one else to stand in the way of what I can assume is Armageddon. All we have is each other, and for every time we've been pushed into a corner It's always been just enough. That's why we'll stand, that's why we'll fight. All for that small chance of surviving. That tiny glimpse of hope. I can see it now, standing above our enemies in victory, and it will be glorious. Spiritual successor I guess. Against all odds was more of a sketch than this.
I had two versions of the spiccato intro as either Melody or Introduction and decided to just split the ideas.

Man, I honestly love this so much. I wish there was more of it. I am an aspiring character artist/designer and I don't usually excel at creating good landscapes or like 'expansive' shots? But the final parts of the orchestration make me want to conjure up an entire battlefield full of epic heroes fighting each other. Keep up the work bro, this shit is amazing.

Completely off topic (and a week late), but who are these characters?! I love the aesthetic! Also, this track is like a continuation of there story back from "Against All Odds". Still epic, but approaching some kind of final climax. Nice work as always, Rush.
