There are rainstorms that look like a mist event that lasts all day. And look on top of the trailer towards the front of the entry into the roadblock (hint) ladder on the back side of it. There is a military crate up there with a very nice surprise. And the trailer is very stable now. When you get to the gas station there are huge boxes on the side that can be moved and stacked, makes perfect steps in most builds. I use them for getting on roofs (or climbing into the sky). Am glad to see you back into it
The developer should be really proud of this. This is the whole reason I joined steam. My laptop was old and couldn't play it. But he should definitely keep going with this. It could be close to infected if he stays on it. He could even push it further
I remember, there was a time, when those sun visors were part of a puzzle and they would hold pass codes to open doors. Or I am just on that Mandela effect lol
I purchased this game because of you back when you first played it way back when. Nice to see a bunch of updates, I havent touched it since way back when. Getting lost and disoriented is what held me back.
Please do keep this one running. I haven’t delved into this game yet, but I have always enjoyed watching you play it. It definitely looks like a promising investment and kudos to the dev for persevering and continuing to update and polish this game, definitely one that I have on my list of games to get when my budget allows.

Good to see you back on this one. I think it is the game that brought me to your channel four years ago! I prefer this original map which is much improved with the new graphics. Re getting on roofs like the gas station and the cafe further down the road, if you carry a suitcase or a locker with you, you might be able to set it on top of an existing crate and then climb up on roofs in two stages to get at the backpack upgrades hidden on top. Red truck is down that way as well and I think it is still the case that don’t actually need parts or gas to drive it? Certainly it was like that a while ago.

you don't need to pick up crafting stuff when starting. drop any crafting materials till you have a base. focus on picking up food, ammo with weapons and medicine. SLOW DOWN you're missing a lot of stuff while looting
Some vehicles will have a tire on them. I didn't drive the red truck until I got 4 tires. Then I found an engine in a cop car, but I haven't found a battery yet.
You could have harvested the tomato and got a tomato seed and harvest it for lot's more tomatoes. It only takes a couple days to be ready to harvest. That bag of manure and the shovel would be enough to get a farm row and I didn't even need to water it though it did rain a lot for me so thats questionable.
I think l have seen you play this before but, like you, l have a bad memory and you have SO MANY videos to watch that l can barely keep up...lol Game looks like fun and l look forward to seeing more. 😃
KAGE.....I'm surprised you didn't remember the Ranger Station which is very near the white house base....the good pickup truck and many other things are there ..while at the military check point you missed 2 M4 rifles....jeans and a hard hat....but I'm sure you're gonna do great anyway right....
some vehicles can be moved without anything its a Debug Test of how good are they running so if you get inside of one press W if it moves its Driveable but of course that will change at somepoint when the dev gets enough feedback of it running good
I just bought the game on Steam. Looks like fun, but unfortunately the mouse invert y-axis toggle also inverts the x-axis. It's disorienting and I cant play this way. No User or Preferences .ini to modify. Hopefully the Developers fix this soon. For now I guess I will just watch your playthrough.
I really liked this game but haven't received an update for a year since jan 2023 so seeing people play with an update I got excited but I didn't have the update. Just found out I had to register for beta devtest version of the game for the update so I registered and got the update and was excited for some of the new changes. Looking especially forward to the custom building to be expanded on. Only major problem I had so far was after updating all the controls were none and I didn't know what they were set to normally. I Google searched control settings and I found some but not everything. Can't figure out how to use the lockpick after I crafted 1 to open a locked box. I don't know if lockpick is bugged or if it's related to the keybinding issue. I did the best I can but can't seem to set bait to set the small animal trap and I know it worked before I switched to the current version of the game but I don't know what keybinding I did wrong.
I've been experimenting with all of the new things and the camper hasn't tripped out on me yet. I decorated it and I've been going over things that used to make it get stuck before. When you get stuck through walls or items like the bed, you just crouch and wiggle your way out.
Where did you find that house? I just get spawned with a shed and all the houses are derelict. Then the bear sneaks up behind with no noise and kills me.
Hey KAGE, I have a question if you please. I made low grade fuel from fat but don't know what it's for. Tried to use the green can to fuel the generator but it didn't work. Thanks brother.
Not sure which map you mean, I only have the new map, which is not the actual map that Kage is playing, he is playing on the experimental build, which is a merger of the old areas and the new areas. If you are playing the normal game, it is different to the version that Kage is playing here. To play this version, that Kage is playing, you will have to download the experimental build, but the map function does not work correctly on this version, as could be seen when Kage displayed the map briefly, as it displayed the map from the normal build.
the Dev moved it from UE4 to UE5 dont know what version so if it looks dark in Buildings its because of Lumen and with the Dev Test you are on the older map he has be refracturing it so you may not see some of the older POIs or you may find some of the older ones he is trying to get some of the older Buildings out and newer one put into there Place
Auto shotgun is crap, no way to modify it, plus the cool suppressor you picked up earlier can be placed on double barrel. And about you press E instead of F once fuel has been extracted
I've read that you should make sure your DirectX is updated. I'm on DX12 and it loaded but took a long time the first time. It's still pretty slow with subsequent logins.
The game looks really grainy. Tried watchin your video on my PC and on Sony Xperia (Has a 4K Screen) Wonder if its the video? Interesting looking game. Might check it out.
@@l8knight845 He's probably on the test branch. Look at the game notes on steam and you'll see all of these updates have been on the test branch before going to the main branch next month.
This is the experimental build, which will replace the current build, next month, hopefully with a fix to the map function, as this version does not display the correct map yet.
This game is still very much in development, and seeing as this build that Kage is playing does not have multiplayer, then it's a fair bet that it probably won't have it. The game is being developed by one guy, so updates will be slow.

u need to finish ur seasons u have done 10 seasons and all have been incomplete please complete the playthroughs so we get to see more than the start of the game

He's shown enough of the game that if it looks like fun to you then at least you know enough about it to know whether it's worth buying and playing yourself. I would advise anyone considering buying this game to download for free from igggames first as you may like myself who has played every survival game out there be incredibly disappointment. This game instead of giving you challenges that you can overcome by getting better at the game, chooses to use lazy tricks to prolong your game play. like most games you need to start a fire right.......but the only way to make a fire is with bark (not leaves which are everywhere but bark) shouldn't be a problem right..... but you need an axe .....no problem craft one right......no you cant craft an axe till later in the game when you ....that's right don't need to craft an axe. i feel like an attempt to make this game different from other games fails to see that there is a blindingly obvious reason that some systems (like crafting an axe) exist because people tried it without and it was shit. the fact that the hand cart has no inventory (you have to physically drop each item into cart) but everything else storage yourself etc has an inventory once again this is another attempt to be special and different that just quickly becomes tiresome and annoying and failed there are so many games like this that are smoother better and don't try so hard i wouldn't recommend this especially as it has been out for so long and still is sub standard.

One time in my 130 hours of mist I found loot in the visors of a vehicle. It was only a candy bar but hey something is better than nothing.

There was a gun in that truck. The 1st truck you looted and got ammo from the glovebox.

This has exactly the same items etc that "no one survived" has. What sort of programs they use to make games nowadays. Everything looks the same.

just re-installed this game.. goes as far as the opening screen and shuts down.

Why are you subtracting 8 to convert 24 hour time? Anything 1300 and above just subtract 12, lol.
I subtract 10, then 2.
Like 1600 is 6 -2. 4. Its easier for me that way

This game is still very much in development, and seeing as this build that Kage is playing does not have multiplayer, then it's a fair bet that it probably won't have it. The game is being developed by one guy, so updates will be slow.
