One of the best hospitals i worked in had colour coded floors. Outpatients level 0 all yellow Emergench and acute level 1 red Surgical and theatres level 2 green Intensive care yellow Maternity purple Really helped patients with way finding and would be printed onto their letters what colour floor/walla/area to proceed too. Colour v important in hospital design. Also way finding lines used alot, follow the black oine for radiology for example leading from emergency dept. Green for pharmacy, yellow for lifts etcetera

Once you actually make money, upgrade the chairs in the waiting areas to "comfortable chairs" or even sofas. It boosts the mood of the waiting patients. Pkacing a TV in the waiting area sometimes helps against boredom

You can actually save a room as a template and just copy it. It’s easier that way. Also, you can paint the info booth as restricted for patients so they won’t go inside.
For the toilets there are specific walls, like the one you find in pubblic bathrooms with openings on the top and bottom. I usually use those in a green color since they give me more "bathroom vibes" xD You can find them in the walls section 7th row 2nd column
