One of the biggest problems I find with this game is the abundance of glitches and bugs that ruin the player experience, every time I play I will come across one at the very least (infinite loading screens, trader/hunter wagon not spawning in, missions not starting causing me to have to restart, the stable glitch and on pc an insane amount of modders some of which will spawn you into the sky shoot meteorites at you and summon giant alligators at your feet or just stick you in a cage)

It truly saddens me to no extent to see Red Dead Online being done so dirty by Rockstar 😔 They completely abandoned a game with so much untapped potential and for what??? Just so they could continue to milk GTA online, a 10yr old game 🤦♂️ Rockstar just doesn’t care anymore for its loyal fanbase, all they care about is their pockets!!
It’s crazy seeing this video cuz I remember making my online character when I was a freshman in college.. now 5 years later I graduated and am applying to jobs lol - I wish rockstar did so much more with RDR ONLINE
I believe all of this should be remade and tweaked with added voice over and choice of reactions from storyline like in the main campaign. Real thought and effort would massivly extent longivity and make even me buy into it more. This could be the perfect dlc franchise continuation of events
love u hollow! more people still play this than you think p2 is needed theyres so much too explore. you should join a posse and do some bountys for a video.
So much better in 2024, so many less people playing, less grief erst. You can actually get shit done. People seem friendlier. The game is still amazing
It has everything you need in it already. I am glad they left that game alone. That way it was mostly the peaceful people who remained playing the game, the ones who enjoy the world as much as I do.

I've been playing RDO alot recently and I've installed a mod that lets you make private lobbies and it's so fun without any hackers blowing you up in your own camp or level 500s shooting you off your horse.

Get on top of a rock and you should be safe. But damn, getting to the rock was challenge enough.
I just started playing the online game a month ago. It’s different from single player but it’s incredibly fun to play with people especially the free roam challenges and posse games.
BRO YOU READ MY MIND!! as soon as I heard you comment on the AI concept I literally just got done thinking about it. that would be awesome if you could speak a few lines, or even a paragraph and AI creates a character with your voice!.
This is why that not every single game has to have online capabilities. Especially if a developer is going to just abandon it, just scrap it all together and get rid of it. This could have been a great dlc story or even a spin off game. A little Skyrim spin, create a character, go through the intro, and just do whatever you want. Even start your own gang to set up robberies if you want. Could even keep the online capability and allow people to play with up to 3 or 4 other friends to explore the map and do robberies.
I love this game so much, the story mode is hands down the best I’ve played and the online is not to bad either. Really like your idea of AI learning your voice so the character sounds like us, but also hope that there won’t be this clipping problem. Long hair and long beards in this game clip trough the clothing which really takes me out of the immersion.
I've still never played a game that grabbed me like RDR2. This game was the sole reason I even picked gaming back up after over a decade of not playing. Could possibly be the greatest game I ever played. (Minus maybe Super Mario Bros on Nintendo because I am old lol)
17:01 I didn’t realize when I played but that discouraged man talk was from Arthur when you went to the post office that gives online a more clear idea of what kind of timeline the gang is in

Hollow the type of guy to miss a prompt covering his whole screen but can spot a slight rainbow barely even there😂 7:40
Some people hate this game and I can’t wrap my head around that. I fuckin love this game I’ve done countless play throughs and love it more and more everytime the world looks and feels amazing . Been playing games for 28yrs and this is hands down my favorite game ever
I’m replaying RDR2 on the ps5 now.. if ever there was a game to re-do it’s this one.
Does it look any better? I still have my PS4 disc but instead of popping it into my PS5, I've been playing it on my Series S and it looks kind blowing!
Couple hundred years ago???? Rdr2 takes place in 1899 less than 130 years ago. Less then 2 people ago. To put that in perspective someone alive today could of known someone who was alive in 1899.
I just started playing this game & I purchased it on sale! I’m loving the story mode!! I wish I would’ve played this when it came out but I’ve been waiting on gta 6 and thought that would come out already 🤦🏾♀️ wish rockstar would’ve put more effort into the online part of this
The online was so much fun, its a shame they abondoned it. Plus the A.I thing would definitely freak me out 😂 hearing your own voice in a game 😭
I mean Starfield's going to be able to say your name with robot companions now which is insane.
@@Twist400wow say my name? Old technology lol
@@Twist400Fallout 4 had that too with Codsworth. “Good day Mr. Assface!”
@@SkiffyDiffy OMG I DIDN'T KNOW
@@Twist400 red dead redemption 2 is better. sorry. nothing beats RDD 2. plus your game is nothing like RDD 2. so why bother comparing a western game to a space game? makes no sense.
I too say this is one of the best games I have ever played. I only started playing it a year ago because it took me forever to upgrade my console (& was too much for my console at the time to run) I still play it today and my friends think I’m crazy
I still play this game almost daily, there's nothing like it, I just wish they didn't abandon the rdr2 community.
Its a disgrace that this game didn’t get GOTY. Sony has the game awards paid off.
One of my most played games at around 1300 hours story and online combined. Amaazing game!
how do u see hours for ps4
@@Jorja_47only ps5 but if you have a friend that has ps5 he can tell you
This Red Dead character must be related to the GTA Online character. The silence is genetic!
I feel like Hollow will never stay away from the Red Dead series, like EVER!!!
Only the real ones know about Red Dead Online's first few weeks!!! pig pelts and birds near Saint Denis were the best things to sell until R* nerfed it smh
Such a beautiful game, can’t wait to see how insane gta 6 will look!
It's by far the greatest game I've ever played! Nothing comes close even. It's just to good. I think alot of people think that way and are upset that Rockstar just abandoned it.
Can't forget the perma dead eye and perma defensive glitches that ruin pvp
Either you meet no players or players that kill you just for fun, You need diffrerent honor levels to do story missions and you're almost always broke
glad to see you playing this again i still play from time to time but its full of modders and rockstars lacks updating it 🤷♀️
best way to deal with that is by getting a solo lobby or just by leaving.
@@youtubeisracistx i already know a better way than that. doesnt solve the issue all a modder needs is your user to harass you anywhere you go trust me im level 400+
I still love playing RDO. Pvp is still fun. The whole map is still beautiful to be looked at. It’s still satisfying to play 🤝
Same, I've been trying to get all achievements and animal field guide filled out.
I'm the opposite lol. I play online (just because I've finished the game 3 times yet still need more) and hope to be left alone. I just want to roam, do my own thing and enjoy the world. The less people i come across, the better.
@@heldercruz230 same lol
@@heldercruz230 was doing bounty mission a year ago, 2 squads came up to. the whole squad litterly just waved at me then left to chase a guy who tried to lattos me 😂
Lil pieca chit
Would love to see a series of hollow experiencing everything red dead online has to offer
i just bought a new tv and my husband and i are both planning to replay this game just to see how much better it looks. but also because it's honestly one of the best games of all time and why not?
About a week or two ago I started a new game in RDR2 so I can see EVERYTHING I missed and then we got the news of RDR coming to ps4 which is cool but I wish we got a complete remake of RDR. I can’t wait for this. RDR2 is by far one of my favorite games.
We all hoped for that, but realistic?
They are making GTA6, i don’t think Rockstar have resources for a big remake like that. And another studio? Hell no! We all remember „The Definitive Edition“ 😢
@@windi1982 I mean they can use the template for RDR2 especially during the epilogue but I get it. I’d rather they focus on GTA 6. It’s been a long time coming.
Yesssss continue to do a red dead online playthrough
Best role would be Moonshiner or bounty hunter or trader for me
It was nice looking back to the start of it. I began playing RDO August 2022, first and only video game I've ever played. So in love with it. Thanks!! 🤠🌻🤘
RDR2 is the greatest game ever made.
This game needs a movie directed by Tarantino
Imagine
I'm glad you playing this game again ❤
that last part is why I never play MMO's ...someone is always making it their mission to screw things up
RDR2 will always be my favorite game of all time. Can't wait to see what the future holds.
For me red dead redemption is the best game I met so many great people and it’s an all out great community
So much better in 2024, so many less people playing, less grief erst. You can actually get shit done. People seem friendlier. The game is still amazing
Love this game. Still play it. It's always hillarious and puts me in a good mood.
My favorite part of this video is that perfectly timed whistle at the end of the character creation.
I’m actually considering starting over on Red Dead Online as well to experience it again, so this is great timing.
What console? I wanna do the same
Not making DLCs was their biggest mistake IMO.
I absolutely love this game and I’m so upset it got completely abandoned
if it was abandoned then you wouldnt be able to buy the game or redownload it. cus im redownloading it.
It has everything you need in it already. I am glad they left that game alone. That way it was mostly the peaceful people who remained playing the game, the ones who enjoy the world as much as I do.
I just got this on the PS5 and I love it! I know I'm 5 years late...still exploring the map but was thinking about trying the online game. Seems still has people playing!
I would enjoy watching you play some more of this! 😄😄
I like how your voice is calm and quiet instead of loud like some other youtubers
I’ve come to love RDR2 and Ghosts of Tsushima because of their storytelling. I actually got attached to those characters. It wasn’t some crazy fun mechanics, just beautiful storytelling and beautiful game design. I would die for more games like this.
Same brother those are goated games
Facts both games are phenomenonal
I've been playing RDO alot recently and I've installed a mod that lets you make private lobbies and it's so fun without any hackers blowing you up in your own camp or level 500s shooting you off your horse.
His reaction to the modder is just a normal day for every player of red dead online
I really enjoyed watching your video! Nice voice and great sense of humor! Laughed a lot! Until the point where you wanted to beat your horse ^^ Just started to play the online version and still need some guidance, so thanks for the first walking steps.
Another read dead video? *squeals intensely * let's gooooo
I get that feeling when you’ve found the best game you’ve ever played. I experienced that with Days Gone.
Great content as always thank you hollow
Props to anyone still playing. I stopped playing after all the griefers
The online mode had so much potential.I actually wanted to spend money on this game, but they fumbled it HARD
I want to see Rockstar make a 1920s Prohibition era gangster game. With Chicago being half the map, a several smaller towns the other half.
1200 hours of rdo fun asf and relaxing
9,053 hrs an im not playing anymore..i have played around 2 hrs in the last 16 months..i miss it sometimes but im reminded that theres nothing to do or buy
>1500 hours since xmas 2020. Hell 200 were spent in chapter 2 on my 2nd play through to get that damn pouch.
Good times all round.
Nothing compares.
What you mean on pouch? You only had till chapter two to get it so you stuck around in chapter two is what you mean?
@@OnTheGoKRO Yeah I had no idea you couldn't do it past chapter 2. Or maybe I forgot. But I did spend 200 hours getting mauled by mountain lions (cougars?) and other fine creatures before the legend of the west was mine.
The big cats really stressed me out.
It was like in Tremors. Get on top of a rock and you should be safe. But damn, getting to the rock was challenge enough.
I just started playing the online game a month ago. It’s different from single player but it’s incredibly fun to play with people especially the free roam challenges and posse games.
Wait till you get greifed on play session after play session. High level players have an infinitely sized advantage over low level players
@@reddnorth5105 yeah i’m at level 110 now so it’s not hard for me. Even low level players can headshot me and kill me in one hit.
BRO YOU READ MY MIND!! as soon as I heard you comment on the AI concept I literally just got done thinking about it. that would be awesome if you could speak a few lines, or even a paragraph and AI creates a character with your voice!.
The greatest game still to this day, I love starting from scratch from story to online, still amazing 🤭 everytime
Hollow that red dead remaster price is robbery. It cost 50 bucks. A new ps4 game cost 60 bucks, while a ps5 cost 70.
Me - Hollow? never heard of him must be a new youtuber...
*Sees 4.6M subs*
Me - Alrighhttt guess im the new one here. lmao
lmao i had the same exact thought! We're hella late!
I’ve started last month playing rdo it’s so fun
Love this game to bits. I really would of liked alot more.
Greatest game everrrr for sure, maybe rock star will revisit it one day one year
This is why that not every single game has to have online capabilities.
Didn’t Have enough players, wasn’t abandoned but they also scared everyone early with their gold bar shit
@@daahsri Lol didnt scared me. i bought gold to help me get started with the bounty missions. after that, i didnt buy anything thing else.
@@youtubeisracistx No, thats not bad, when it launched on day one, it was expensive af
You sir, just spoke an idea into existance. Powerful. 13:53 😂
Hollow is just head over heels in love with the Red Dead Redemption Franchise int otal😂😂. Well it really is.. a beautiful game😂
Hollow please make more rdr2 online videos they’re hilarious.
I've still never played a game that grabbed me like RDR2. This game was the sole reason I even picked gaming back up after over a decade of not playing.
Could possibly be the greatest game I ever played. (Minus maybe Super Mario Bros on Nintendo because I am old lol)
17:01 I didn’t realize when I played but that discouraged man talk was from Arthur when you went to the post office that gives online a more clear idea of what kind of timeline the gang is in
If MX Vs ATV did a landscape like how it is on RD2 nobody could even come close for a dirt bike game. It would be fun as hell to ride a dirt bike around this map.
