This isn't my first time modding a console and this video was very helpful, but my screen keeps changing the brightness level randomly by itself... I've desoldered the wire and made sure there's no bridging on the board, but the issue persists (brightness changes in random intervals). My soldering seems fine and the brightness button does work, so I've contacted FunnyPlaying's support to return the IPS kit because I'm pretty sure I received a faulty unit... I'm also applying to return their cheap transparent shell that broke off on the right hinge after literally a handful of times opening and closing the GBA. I feel like I got ripped off 🙂

would you ever consider making a new mod pack with more mods? like the new linkle dialogue mod? it really changes the game significantly and i can't get anything to work on my deck whatsoever :') also things like the linkle title screen and linkle outfit icons etc would be so good :')

Different CPU loads here... I would assume Castlevania is making the GBA work much harder than the other.

You catch Mewtwo at level 70. If they used legendaries and sped through the game it’s not unbelievable that they finished the game in 19 hours. That’s actually a bit slow considering.

So the cartridge just emulates everything? I have gba emulator on my pc and there is slight input delay and the sound quality is slightly worse and buggy and I would hate for that to be on my gameboy

Can’t seem to make retroarch pull the textures from the hats file. It’s in the same folder location etc changed the setting but just looks the same all the time. Won’t load textures

Battery life being shorten is to be expected with any IPS kit. Thw one with the best battery is the ITA kit, low power consumption. Every other ips kit will devour your battery.

The artifacting is 100% do to you leaving FRM on. This fixes some games whole breaks others. Should be turn off 99% with exception of thise games

If Green means on/ Red Low and Blue Charging, How do i know when it is fully charged? Is there a "save stop" that stops the charging progress after its full or do you have to eyeball it? And if you forgett to unplug it would it damage the battery longterm?

The reason that the game crashes when you try to do both Linkle and Second Wind is because Second Wind needs to be at the LOWEST PRYORITY (AKA Priority 100). If you do the BCML route when setting up your mods. Make sure you have Second Wind at the Top of the mod list. Idk how to sort priority using Cemu, but if you can get Second Wind to to lowest priority, it should run on Steam Deck.

I heard there was a way to get a single game flash card where you have to actually go back to a computer every time you want to change games and that thing uses the same as a real cartridge amount of power.
