    People don’t understand how beastly this truck is such an underrated truck. The performance of this truck is amazing I own a duramax engine and I love how awesome is on saving gas and performance. Anyone saying otherwise never has owned any of the new duramax engine. I own a 2022 limited all star edition and I would’ve loved bought this truck but at that time ZR2 diesel wasn’t a thing. However, I will get this truck in the near future because I love everything about it.

      @@lordrayden3045 You are correct. You must be an investor as this is overlooked by many commentators. A large problem with GM (and Ford) are their EV vehicles sales/cost/production issues. ICE vehicles make all the profits for both. EDIT: I'm not saying the ICE trucks aren't expensive. They are but they sell.

      Every part on the vehicle cost more for materials and to build. Plus all employees got a raise, utility bills to operate the manufacturing has tripled in past couple years. Soon taxes will go up and prices will go higher.

    I'm a chevy guy and curious about these new 1500 trucks but want to see how the baby duramax holds up over the long haul before committing to it. I do love the mileage numbers it puts up even though diesel is more expensive than regular pump... I only run 93 anyway so it's somewhat of a moot point for me. It's also curious that chevy is upcharging for the 6.2v8 on the current online configurator... odd.
    Currently, my loaded '16 LTZ on Kings and 35's with the 6.2 V8 is still running extremely strong at 163k's!
    after watching the video. I really wish the LTZ/High Country would make a baby with the ZR2. The creature comforts are extremely nice on long trips and long hours in the cab but the ZR2 hardware should be able to be options on the LTZ/High Country. I'd throw my money at them if they'd figure that out.

    • @randycupp5925
      @randycupp5925 9 місяців тому

      The ten speed that comes with the 5.3 is a good transmission. It's the 8 speed 8l90 that comes with the 2.7 turbo that has had issues. The 8l80 is the revised version that comes in the 2024 models equipped with the 2.7L turbo and time will tell if they worked out the issues.

      CEO’s? Do you even understand how a corporation works? Do you understand how much operating costs have gone up? I can tell you do not own a business and you probably work for someone.
      It cost double to operate these companies than it did 3 years ago. Everyone got raises, utilities tripled. No more tax breaks.
      It’s gonna get worst when taxes go up soon. Plus these companies still need to borrow for manufacturing, which costs a ton more for the high interest loans now.
      Learn how about operational cost. It will devastate you. The government is the ripoff. Not the CEO. Atleast the CEO gives millions of jobs. What do you provide to others?
