Great video, thanks guys. Researching online, there is also other products from Rockbros and Rassine which are even cheaper than the SeaSucker and the Treefrog. Do you have any experience in these products?

I recently bought a ROCKBROS bike carrier for 3 bikes. Well - it was to large for my small car (roof surface not on the same level for the whole 90cm width)
I just didn`t think about this before buying, but i was able to refund it. Now looking for a 1 bike carrier and the triangle shape of the seasucker and treefrog seem to come in handy for smaller cars/cars with uneven roof surfaces.
Crazy seeing a familiar face before howni know them now.
I just used the sea sucker to travel from Delaware to Florida, worked great. At one point we were driving 75 mph and hit 30 mph cross winds, the bike bounced around but all was good. 90 mph no problem at all.

Nice review. Looking at your SeaSucker Talon I can tell your bike rack is at least 2 to 3 years old. The 2019 SeaSucker Talon comes with the HUSKE Universal Fork Mount Base and the quick-release plugs and skewer. The through-axle plugs are extra. Hi Chris. First, you are right about that Talon is an older model, but to being fair, that TreeFrog Pro 1 bike rack is not the latest generation either. Second, most customers either has road bike and mountain-bikes, so the 9-15x100mm universal fork mount with the 15x10mm Boost spacer would work with road and mountain bikes, and other demand for roadies who have 9mm quick release system and 12x100mm thru axle disc brake bikes. For those TreeFrog offers the 9-12x100mm universal fork mount so they can work with both system, without switching the fork mount out, and for both options could be chosen by the customers, without extra cost to getting those thru axle adapters. The latest version you can see now on the TreeFrog distributors and dealers websites.

Arra esetleg tudja a választ, miért nem lehetnek a szállított kerékpárok menet iránynak háttal?
Egy plexi tetős Prius Plusra szeretnék vásárolni egy Treefrog Pro 2 szállítót. Azonban nem szívesen rakom fel a teherviselő (villát tartó) tappancsokat az amúgy nem olyan vastag plexire. Ezért gondoltam, hogy háttal utazzanak a kerékpárok (A tető hátsó része már lemez).
@@Tuberofi A vakuum-korongos kerekartartok ugy vannak tervezve, hogy a tehert a deck/board-hoz erositett vakuum-korongon viszik. Annyira tul van epitve, hogy ha valamilyen problema miatt az egyik vakuum-korong meg is hibasodna, akkor is hazavinne a kerekpart biztonsagba. Mig a hatsokerek-tarto korong csak egy vakuum-korongbol all, ami valojaban csa iranyba tartja a kerekpart. Tehat, ha megforditanank vagy keresztbe tennek fel a tartot a kerekparral, akkor azt csak egy korong tartana, es igy nem tartjuk biztonsagosnak. Az elsodleges szempont a biztonsag, igy a deck/board resznek kell mindig elol lennie. I thought they were the same company. When I ordered some replacement parts for my Seasucker, they were shipped to the UK by Treefrog Europe.
do you have any trouble mounting on vinyl especially as you have seams with the camo? I feel like that could cause a weak point for the suction cup.

The TreeFrog is not cheaper because of a lack of quality. They are cheaper because they are not shipped from the US. The TreeFrog is a better product.

@@m3nthos625 It's a better manufactured product. The entire fit and finish is better and the materials are better. Have both in your hands and the difference is pretty significant. The cups are more sturdy, the pump system seems more "firm", better seals etc. There's a reason why one is TÜV approved with a 110 kg load capacity per cup vs. 70 kg per cup for the Sea.
The only reason why the Sea is more expensive is because it has to ship from the US and because it's an established brand. But the Frog is by far the way to go.

Can you put the the suckers on top of vinal or PPF?
Not vinyl, but PPF yes. Just know that after use, you'll need to replace that PPF sheet as they leave marks in the PPF.
Does anybody know the distance between the bolt holes for thru axle mount? I have the Rassine rack but it only fits 9mm quick release, I have 15mmx100mm. Looking to see if the treefrog will fit my rack.
You can buy different sizes of mounts for your Rassine. They're surely have 15x100mm.
You ca use the TreeFrog fork mounts for the bolt hold sizes between 70mm to 78mm center to center. TreeFrog 9-15x100mm fork mount would work with the Rassine rack.

Yes, you can have the crossbar, to carry your surfboards, and placing fork mount/s on the crossbar as well to carry your bikes when you need it.
Have you deflated the back tyre deliberately for this or is it just flat accidentally?

No we did not deflate deliberately, just forgot to pump it up.
Great review. I’m just wondering if they can be fitted to roofs with panoramic openable sunroof? I’ve got a Merc C43 wagon, I could use the roof rails but think these look way better.
Yes, you can use it on a panoramic roof, no problem.
jUST MAKE SURE YOU DON'T OPEN THE SUNROOF
