Good tip I do with my SeaSicker with my road and tri bikes is to mount the bike to the SeaSucker on the ground first, then lift everything onto the roof. :-) great vid!
Aw thats so obvious that I never considered it. Hardest part of the whole process is steadying the bike while I attach the through axle to the mount. GENIUS! Will try on my next outing, thank you!
I received my 2 Sea Suckers yesterday. It's winter here in Germany, so I probably won't be getting much use until the summer. I'll use them on our Shelby GT500, Mach E and Focus RS, yep a Ford family. Gonna love these things when we go to our house in Spain as we can use them on the rental cars and eventually the Focus RS when I move that one there in the summer.
It’s a lovely idea thinking off getting one trouble I find is when you do your regular stops at service stations for toilet or etc you may loose the 2 off it

2 questions bro. I have an m6, this seasucker could solve our space problems for vacation. 1 can you speed with it? Are there limits? 2 how much weight can the carbon roof handle? Thanks!!
The sea sucker is awesome! I went about 90 miles an hour with it on there with no issues. I am not sure about how much weight the roof can hold, but this bike was about 35 pounds. I reached out to sea sucker before I bought it to make sure it was OK with the carbon roof and of course they said yes. Thanks for watching!
I spoke with seasucker about that before I used it. They said I would be fine. I only used it a few times before I sold the car but didn’t have any issues.
Hey man, how is this holding up after a year? Any damage to the carbon roof? Or the clear coat of the carbon roof? I’m thinking of getting it for my f90 m5 with a carbon roof and was worried if it will damage the carbon or something. Thanks!
Unfortunately, I sold my M4 a few months ago but there was nothing leading to me to believe that this could cause any kind of damage to the carbon fiber. I would get one if you are interested.
It was a nice turnout for cars and coffee with a few super cars making an appearance. I must have bugged out before you got there. Maybe see you at the next one!

Hey PiPs, great edition this go-around ! Question, does THULE recommend applying moisture to those compression cups before vacuuming them down to the roof ?!? Also, how much does that SeaSucker unit weigh approximately ?!? Keep ^Up^ The Excellent Reviews Yo !!!
I am going to have to disagree. While I would much rather work on a car that is out of warranty(get paid more labor) I feel that if you keep your car for a while and something major were to go wrong you would be saving money with a warranty in the long run.
@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS Brian what did you end up getting for your extended Warranty? Had the same sticker shock from BMW. My 2 cents is BMW want's you in a new Bimmer so they make the extended warranty cost prohibitive.

Wow Peter, that’s a nice line up! Sea Suckers will work great on all of them.

Those suction cups are amazing. Stradman used the same thing to hold his ski box on his Gallardo.

It works very well.
Important question? Did the sea-suckers cause any damage to the carbon roof after long term used?
I did my research before buying, no damage at all.
