    I have the CCA($50) and they’re great. The only thing thing is they don’t have the rubber clasp to tighten up on the back of your neck. I use a twist tie as a substitute for that and it works pretty good.

    I use to think to that multiple driver gives good separation but it's no necessarily so. It still depends upon how good the iem was tuned.
    I have a 5hybrid driver iem,kz zs10pro, it has good bass, mids, and highs, pretty clean for the price of $30. but my single, 11mm driver iem(tfz no. 3) got cleaner tuning but much rumbly bass, better separation, wider soundstage. So iem tuning is everything.
    Great video though, it gives musician greqt idea to hear their instruments that will no cost them much and also protect their hearing.

    Great video! I'm getting ready to jump in to the IEM galaxy and get my first set. Pretty overwhelming with so many options. Do you have any recommendations below $100? I play guitar and do some singing, so I'm sure the ideal would be triple drivers. I think my ears are on the smaller size (I'm 5'6"), so fit is also a concern to me...not so much the tips but the actual unit itself. Are the CCAs still your top choice? Nice, I’ll have to check those out. I’m using my CCA’s for two travel dates today and tomorrow and I still love them 👍

      @@ScottUhlMusic Thank you for taking it positively, there are some background sounds i hear effortlessly from hifiman as i do need to make efforts to hear them from cca despite dual drivers.

      Yup! You can get the one on Amazon "with mic" if you wanted one as well. Those are meant for the phone use.

      I'm running AS10s now. I'm wondering is the next tier, closer to $100, is much of a difference? As a bass player, a bit more bottom that the AS10s would be super!

    But what about ambient sound? I need ambient sound as I play to small audinces and you guys never mention that, arrrrggghhhh

    • @ScottUhlMusic
      @ScottUhlMusic  2 роки тому +3

      When you get a custom mold that fits your ear exactly, that’s where you can get no ambience and can feel isolated. So these usually allow a good amount of ambience in with my experience. Especially if you change the tip so that it’s a little bit smaller, that will also help. There is also always the option of only using one ear bud and leave the other one out, which I do a lot. Also… they are $20. Try them out, return them if they aren’t what you want, and if not… you have a pair of good earbuds for $20.👍

    Your links are broke to amazon. Also my opinion only. Lose the pop up videos during your descriptions of the products. Not needed at all. Btw. Good channel.
