You have arguably the best athlete in the CFL on the bench Tre Ford. The only quarterback that has won a game for Edmonton since 2019. Jones is a good old boy he will always choose a mediocre American and a build safe a pocket offence over an scramble offence supporting a talented Canuck. Rebuild before the league has 8 teams. Signed a Lions fan.

Attendance is consistent year to year. Very poor in the summer months and builds after Labour Day. Eastern Final last year was a sellout. Why don't you just watch the football games and ignore the empty seats. Argo games draw the biggest audience shares on TSN consistently. The fan base is bigger than it appears and the Argos, believe it or not, drive up the $ on the league tv contract.
@@richardleslie904 Attendance is "consistent" year to year?? LOL---yea...consistently lousy. We were fed this baloney that once the Argo left the cavernous Rogers Centre for the intimacy of BMO field the team would "sell out" every game. That sure didn't happen. The Argos used to be the only game in town up to the mid 70s when the Maple Leaf season would end. With the arrival of the Blue Jays in 1977 the long decline in the Argos began. MLSE is going after an NFL team in the future and is scouting out sites to build a new stadium. The Argos will ultimately move to Moncton, Halifax or even London, Ontario.
Tell me something. Why would a city (Hamilton) build a new stadium (Tim Horton's Field) on the same site and the same dumpy neighborhood that the old stadium sat on. The city of Hamilton had a chance to build a new lakefront stadium but was too cheap to build the highway/road changes needed to reach it so they kept this new stadium where it was. LOL. And Tim Horton's was shabbily built--there has already been a transformer fire on site and cracks were seen in some of the stands/support structures.
Camera man obviously instructed not to point towards the 23 people in attendance. Same shitty camera angles across the league being used so viewers don't see how few people are actually going to the games. Even out west, where the game has traditionally had a larger fan base.
This game was downright awful and I speak of both teams. But in typical fashion the Argos chased Vernon Adam’s all over the place when they played the lions. Then tonight couldn’t even touch MBT …Go figure out this ridiculous league that makes no sense from week to week .
Man, I hate to say it, but the CFL is such an unwatchable league. It's so boring. US College Football is way more competitive 7 exciting to watch. Look at the stands, no one cares, man. Sad.
This was a high scoring shootout that ended on a walk-off FG. What you talkin about?! IMO, the CFL's game is fine. I had season tickets for years (Sask) and enjoyed it thoroughly. It's the on-screen product and the overall marketing/production that suck. American college ball is a direct example of that - 80,000 people with TONS of enthusiasm. Bands, fight songs, you name it. A party. The CFL has never been marketed that way - and it needs to be. I've said the same thing about our WHL team.
The US turns sports into entertainment shows. Sports down there is secondary to the 'show.' I love the US college game and watch it religiously but the raw game of football is in Canada. A real field and a real ball. No flashy entertainment.
Good game for the argos I love the cfl thank you tsn ❤

With this few fans in attendance, I don't see this league continuing. Argos are a top tier team, and they can't get fans in the seats.

They should flip the television cameras to show the other side.
