I am a Colts fan, but I was really mad that they did not finish that season winning the Super Bowl this is the best offense I’ve ever seen in my life
Randy Moss doesn’t get enough credit for his route running. His feet and change of direction are immaculate
I remember when Moss scored a TD for Vikings against the Boys and he leaped in the stands . I thought, what a hot dog… the man gave the ball to a wheelchair-bound handicapped person. Class act

Belichick and the Pats front office were straight clowns for letting Randy go. I bet that made Brady feel some type of way.
Hell yeah it did and I'm not a pats fan
Part of it was Moss too. He stopped playing hard, and started causing a lot of issues in the locker room. Brady constantly had to be the mediator between him and Bill. Eventually it became too much. Moss is a great talent, but he did come with his fair share of headaches.

Wow. Two of the greatest to ever do it.
Randy Moss is the answer to the question I still hear people ask: "what could Tom Brady have done with a truly elite, top 5 wideout?"
When you think about it, the possibilities are insane. If he had been paired with a top 5 wideout in 50% of his years, Brady would quite possibly have set records that would be videogame-esque.
Moss had more touchdowns in a single season then most wide receivers in their whole career. Wow.
Imagine if Tom was throwing to Randy for 5 or 10 years in his prime.
Yeah Dante Culpeper was slop I don't care what any one says that guy was not a good QB
@@maggiehill789I agree 100%. If I remember right, they were too quick to give the job to rookie Daunte after Jeff George had a stellar year and good connection with Moss. They should have given the job to Jeff for another year or two.

This is Moss 9+ years into the league. He slowed down a bit by this time and was still menace.
If you were in a coma and came out of it and watched this video and were asked, "How long do you think Moss and Brady have played together" you'd probably say, 4, 5 years? And when they told you no, this is their first year playing together , you'd be shocked and fall back into your coma
Im an Eagles fan and I was sad this 2007 team didn't finish it off and get the perfect season falling just short in the Super Bowl because they broke records that year with Brady and Randy Moss. Just insane!!! Team was amazing. But with that said they are the ONLY team ever to go 16-0 and no team will ever do that....at least not in my lifetime anyway. Im 39 years old. Especially now in today's game with 18 weeks. Oh well thats sports but man it sucked to see the best team ever choke.

@@theloverswineverytime1625 No I wanted that 2007 team to win and Eagles vs Patriots are not really rivals haha. We are in different conferences lol 🤪
@EternalDrumming he means the giants who are our division rivals who beat the Patriots in both superbowls some how.
@@joeywheelerii9136 Ok well yeah that is also true as well since Giants are one of our rivals. But those two Giants teams got hot at the right time and they deserved to win both games. I just wish an 16-0 finished perfect. It would have been cool to see.
Randy was trying to play on a nearly broken ankle in that Superbowl. Healthy? No contest. Still the greatest year.
Watching this and I still get the chills. Dude was too cold. The greatest WR ever! It's not even a debate.
It's DEBATABLE. Yes. Moss is GREAT!!! But in that GOAT Argument you must absolutely put Jerry Rice. Megatron. Cris Carter. Terrell Owens. All in that discussion. All were GREAT. My personal top 2 are 1. Jerry Rice 2.Moss 3..Megatron 4..T.O 5. Cris Carter. That's my Mt. Rushmore of WR Position. And you could put Micheal Irvin in that group too and it wouldn't upset me.
Ok i see how Rice and megatron can contend but carter and especially TO? Come on man! Dont disrespect like that lol even Fitzgerald better than TO or Michael Irvin.
@fabiansandoval6132 look at Carters numbers. Top 3 when he retired in a run 1st defense wins championships league with no top qb on most non winning teams until last few yrs of career with Culpepper and Moss as a rookie In Minnesota. Very similar to Megatron situation and ask Moss ......Carter taught him A LOT about WR in pros and how to be a professional. And TO was top 3 when he retired in numbers some were top 2 and dude was a beast and can still to this day run a sub 4.5 40 I've seen it on UA-cam. TO and Carter belong in top 5 argument both are HOF players.
@fabiansandoval6132 and Fitzgerald could be added to that argument sir. You wouldn't get too much of any sort of push back from me dude was a stud at that the position and moved around the formatiom inside. Outside. Backfield. Wildcat. Etc. No argument on Fitz.
@fabiansandoval6132 Irvin career cut short due to neck injury but man dude win national championships in college. Superbowls in pros and for 1st 2 chips in nfc title games of first 2 Superbowl runs was matched up against dion an put up numbers wasn't the fastest guy but was fast enough. In n out of breaks. Crisp route runner. Knew route tree was precise. Smart football guy. Clutch player. Go to guy didn't drop a lot of balls good body usage and control of himself in the air just a great all around receiver and again 1st ballot hof guy. With multiple championships at every level.
Moss could be a bit of a jerk but I don't think there has ever been anyone better at making contested catches.
There wasn't.
There was Rice, but Moss was a freak of nature.
His jump and speed was superior..
Pushing defenders away from the ball every play makes contested catches easier.
I'm honestly shocked no one else mentions how often this dude just shoved defenders out of the way with his hands on these long TD passes. Pretty sure it ended up hurting one of the Dolphins players too, but I'd have to rewatch to be sure.
Just look at this pass lol 10:05 dude was allowed to just get away with plays like this constantly. Defender has had enough with the refs at 11:50 too.

@@carloschacin1640 Not easily … if with the mentioned average he would have needed 16 seasons. Rice‘s record will stand forever
Imagine Brady's numbers if he had a player like Randy Moss for than 1.5 years? Look what brady did at 43/44 yrs old with Mike Evans and Godwin. Instead Belichick would give TB12 collie, Tompkins and others you've never heard of while stacking up his defense. The 28-3 comeback was done with 3 white recievers, 2 under 5'10 and the 3rd was a lacrosse player. Gronk was injured that sb btw
Brady played with Moss for 2 full seasons and 4 games. That is a total 36 games! They simply didn’t get it done together! In fact the Patriots dumped Moss in his 4th season with the Patriots, because Moss was washed at 33 years old.
@@357twilson Moss had over 1000 yards and 13 yds in 2009 but 4 games into 2010 and he was washed ? Or was it that the pats had drafted gronk and Hernandez and changed their offense to a 2 tightened set? Yah they didn't win a Superbowl but breaking every passing and receiving record and going 16-0 is far from a failure. Maybe if defensive genius Belichick could stop .500 QB Eli Manning from going 80+ yards and scoring a TD in less barely over a minute they'd have an extra ring
@@chadbinette3201 you said a lot of false statements in your comment. Moss did not break every receiving record. He broke the receiving touchdown record. And the Patriots lost the super bowl to the Giants because they only scored 14 points in the Super Bowl. That patriot offense couldn’t do anything against the Giants. And yes Moss was washed in 2010. Moss numbers in 2010 were 28 catches 393 yards and 5 touchdowns. He was out of the league in 2011. He came back in 2012 and only had 28 catches 434 yards and 3 touchdowns. So yes, Moss was washed in 2010.
@@357twilson so washed he came back and played for the 49ers a team that was in the Superbowl that year. So many false statements huh? Moss broke the touchdown record, Brady broke the touchdown record, the offense broke the scoring record for a season, margin of victory and on and on. Your literally arguing about a top 3 reciever all time, some have him #1. Forgot to mention welker dropping a game winning catch or asante Samuel dropping a game winning int in his hands. Brady did what he always does and scored with less than 2 mins left in the game but the DEFENSE couldn't hold up. Doesn't matter if the final score is 3-0, if the defense lets a team go 80-90 yards in one minute and score the defense lost it, not the offense that was on the SIDELINES.
@@chadbinette3201 how many super bowls did Brady win against the opposing team who scored with little time left? Yeah that’s how it works, you don’t get to score with two minutes left and then say game over. If that were the case Brady would have 3 or 4 less rings 🤣🤣. And yes Moss was washed in 2010.
