You made a lot of good points. I hadn't thought about the correlation between disability representation in media and how able bodied people react to the sight of me in a wheelchair (not seeing me, looking super shocked when I announce myself, etc), but it makes sense. Great video!

It's with any job! You rarely get an interview if you say you have a disability, and even then it just feels like you're a box ticking exercise for them.
Coronation Street has disabled characters too

Do you watch Jessica Kellgren-Fozard? I ADORE her channel, and she is just. fab. (If you don't, she is deaf and has chronic illness, and does vintage style). This is such a great video; it's definitely a problem that in Hollywood disabled characters and actors are generally misrepresented or rejected. I hope that changes!

I do follow her she is amazing a total darling I love how much she is doing to raise awareness and it is totally what I want to do with my channel too. I hope it changes too I mean we need to be seen and using able bodied actors is so not what we need!
