Thanks for telling us about this book Beverley. I must admit to feeling a bit disconnected from my ancestors, and I would like to look into this, so this book would make a great start. I appreciate the time it must take to do these reviews ❤️ (So lovely that you got an acknowledgment from the author, Ben!)
Thank you so much I love talking about books and this is a good one xx
Great review, good points. Look at that little neon butterfly 🦋 so cute haha!
I couldn't resist it isn't it cute xx
I love that you talked about the format of the book and how much of a difference it makes for those of us with dodgy hands when we can hold and read a physical book comfortably! I'm really glad you enjoyed this one and that you got a lot out of it (and yays that the author does now know you exist! 😄)
Yes! They never know I exist!!!!! More soft easy to hold books in the world please
Very cool the author left a comment. Yes please to more soft books for dodgy hands. I enjoyed your review. Love the neon butterfly.
Agreed more soft light books please! I love it so cute xx
Oooh, I’m looking forward to hearing what you think about Herbal Magick! I thought it was very gentle for beginners but also a very useful reference for more experienced herbalist witches.
I'm enjoying it so far making lots of notes xx
Great video! Thank you for the review and for sharing your thoughts! I added it to my wish list 😊

Lovely review, both of these are on my list! TY❤
You are so welcome xx
Well we know you exist now! This was lovely, I appreciate your balanced and honest review. I really hear what you're saying about the writing, I just completed a degree and was doing a lot of academic writing while writing this and what I've come to learn is that writing is very similar to speaking... you almost take on an accent as you write, and my writing accent is very academic (thank god I wasn't studying 17th century English lit!) I'm pleased you picked up on the physicality of the book, it definitely is softer because of the card stock and I really enjoyed that as well. I'm pleased you enjoyed it and thankyou so much for creating this review
I'm so glad you understood what I meant by it being academic I think it does just become part of you after writing so many essays! I love this book so much thank you for writing it 💜
I totally understood what you meant and I appreciate you including it in your review, you're not the first person to say that and it's a very fair judgement. You learn a lot about your 'voice' when writing, and I've discovered I tend to put a lot of inflection into it that mirrors the way many of my sources and peers speak. it's funny because when I'm verbally telling stories my way of speaking changes to be more descriptive. I have heard from someone they didn't like reading it but they preferred listening to the audio book because it seemed to flow nicer on the ear than on the page. @@BeverleyButterfly
@BenStimpsonAuthor ooh I might try the audio book too. I did enjoy the book but it's nice when the author does the audio book
Another excellent review❤.
Aww thank you so much xx
You also inspired me to make some sigils ❤️
