7/8 years ago I was doing research on China’s Belt and Road project and this port was clearly a key security interest for this plan
I guess the "news" is that the Pakistan has officially granted permission to use it as a naval base.
The US finding out that other countries have autonomy now is hilarious!!
I'm sure Kamala will fix this just as soon as she's in the White House.
By starting another war?
She's already part of this administration and their many failures.
With her bare hands
Ryan and Emily are the only worthwhile aspects of Breaking Points anymore. Glad they’ve also launched their own shows/platforms to build there own viewership away from Krystal and Saagar. It took a little while for Ryan to grow on me but it’s clear he’s a serious journalist and a valuable voice.
Good summary Ryan.
"A dying empire led by bad people". The title of this article sums it up.
If China, Russia, Iran and Pakistan become entrenched allies, that would be a global game changer.
Checking in on Ryan vs. Pakistan
Once again America gets rid of a politician who was good for his people but bad for America.
almost like America has only wanted to rule the world using puppet dictatorships since 1945 or something
During India and Pakistan conflicts didn’t US back Pakistan while India was backed by Russia?
yeah things changed now they want India to anti China but that wont work in case of war. US is delusional
@@superphi in the Soviet era, yes.
They seemed to have a close relationship with the isi or whatever they’re called my one book of knowledge told me this haha.
Actually a good summary of what's been happen in Pakistan.
Last month it was announced that a massive oil field has been discovered offshore Pakistan
breaking points is so lucky to have ryan
Ryan and Emily days more information without unhinged emotional knee-jerk reporting aka the other days of BP
this is the only day of the week ill watch the show.
We can't allow ourselves to 'go back' to a time when we weren't losing all over the world. - Kamala '24
Ewww
This "US failure" is predicated on the premise that it is strategically important for the US to maintain a military footprint in an area of the world where we no longer have geopolitical interests.
In the age of freedom of the seas it was important. But as we've walked away from the Bab al Mandab and red sea shipping, letting the islamic pirates run off global shipping, and China has continued to harass neighboring sea nations taking over their territorial waters to also put a stop to free ocean travel in the region... it's a moot point what they do at the strait of hormuz. Not good for the world at all, but that's the future.
The United States has surrounded China and this allows China to break through a naval blockade as well as other bri projects which allow China to get everything get needs by sea and land in areas not controlled by the US thousands of Miles inland there by allowing the Chinese war machine To participate in a protracted long war
Even American _critics_ of US hegemony will abide by its basic premises...
Wouldn’t Ryan say he’s against “American imperialism?” so why frame it as an American loss?
The idea that all people in a nation have a right to profit from resources in their territory is profoundly collectivist. Profits from resources should go to the private parties who own them (which British Petroleum may not qualify as).
Under Bidem & Harris administration. But yet breaking point especially that DB Krystal supports them and hardly questions them. 😂
Ryan has become the leading journalist on Pakistan 😅
One second you guys are complaining that the US is an empire, the next your complaining that the US is losing its power as an empire.
I wanna eat whoppers and big mac's but I don't wanna get fat!
It’s not that hard to understand the US’s desire to continue its empire, while simultaneously acknowledging that it’s being outplayed on certain areas/issues
Fearmongering ... It is a VERY profitable business on UA-cam. Say things that stoke fears and get people going 'rabble rabble rabble!' makes interactions on a video go crazy, which translates to $$$$$$
@@Umega101like scare mongering about communism, for windfall taxes?
I am sure you don’t do that at all.
How is this complaining that the U.S. is losing power. It’s just calling out how worthless the American agenda and strategy is.
Big fan of the Straight of Hormuz.
And India inches closer to the US.
Just like Turkey and Saudi Arabia, India plays both sides.
India keeps all of its wealth in the US dollars. Pakistan does not, something Pakistan learned in the 90s due to unexpectedly sudden US sanctions.
This is some really interesting analysis
This is old news - this was known a long time ago
Married with children saves the day!
As an Iranian, I have a saying in what Ryan describes as what has happened in Iran. Dude! you are so wrong! Shah (like him or not) had the power to remove the prime minister the same way he had the power to appoint him as prim minister especially after Mossadegh dissolved the parliament (there is a letter from Mossadegh himself saying this very sentence). Were the US and Brits happy with what Shah did? yes, but it doesn't mean it was a coup. Please read unbiased history
Another royalist slave. Everyone knows it was a coup. There are endless books and articles about it. Not to mention declassified CIA and MI6 files have shown that it was a coup.
Gwadar is also on the other side of the Straits of Malacca. India cannot be pleased.
For Pakistani army it's Papa John's Pizza.
Better armies, better pizza, Papa John's.
These geniouses at the state department….. smh
Let them waste their money there. Bring our troops home and use the extra money to improve things here.
How optimistic to think any average American citizen would see any more assistance from the gov
Great reporting on the broader geopolitics playing out in the world now. This sort of content is sorely lacking.
UAE has built a massive terminal out of Fujairah so they can avoid the straight of Hormuz. It is connected to rail too and will connect to Saudi. Saudis have built terminals on their west coast too. This avoids passage through both the Hormuz straight and bab Al mandab entering the Red Sea via Yemen.
Good news
Great reporting
Top tier reporting 😂
Ty
Uuh , i cant believe trump let this happen
are their any examples of us over throwing a government and it going well for us?
Germany? Japan? Chile?
Yap Ryne you're right. I am watching you through VPN ... Love your works and appreciate your helping hand. Good job Sir!
Will BRICS break the petrodollar?
There is no brics without China.
Is it me or is bp < cp
Exactly correct analyses, this moral wickednesses by elites in Pakistan and of course the military involvement needs to be checked under law, Magna Carta-1258 ACE, Allah bless you for efforts. Thank you
Jesus Christ these two are thoroughly boring and tedious and I know news isn’t and shouldn’t be entertainment but these two have such a critical lack of charisma. It’s like two cardboard boxes talking to each other. I’m much prefer crystal and saga they really have a good dynamic.
Omg who cares. We get uo go to work come home eat sleep repeat. Nothing gonna change
This is a threat not to the US, but to India. On top of this if the Chinese navy uses this harbor it will be caught in a pincer between the Indian navy and which ever other nation distrust China at that time.
The Us is on the outs.
China is dominating EV tech, just came out with a new engine that adds 51km to battery capacity.
Capitalism is more important than “democracy”.
❤❤❤
PROPAGANDA 😂
Report facts, not rumors.
Thanks Obama
good now india will have to take our side
India is buying lots of weapons and energy from Russia and they have a cozy relationship..
As they have with China also.
The US will soon see economic decline.
India's entire defence is built on Russian technology. The Indian neck is in Russia's hands. The Russians sold the S400 system to Indian with all of its electronics of Chinese origin. Things are never as they appear.
FASCIST PROPAGANDA
Ryan is the WORST
Chins built gwader port and has use of itas naval base at least last q2 yrs what are you on about
