- BMW added M Power to their 2010 BMW X6 M. This new beast of an SUV/SAV goes from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds and delivers 555 horsepower and 501 lb-ft of torque. The twin-turbo V8, hatchback body style, with SUV ride height and four seats offers limited hauling capability but tremendous amounts of fun. Join Steve Hammes and Jessi Lang as they go over some of the vehicles highlights in this BMW review and Road Test. For more visit www.roadfly.com
"Dumping a Red Bull into your Jolt" well said
Dude hits the curb on 1:29
Jessi is the real deal! When she isn't on camera or at least talking, I'm 75% less interesting in these videos! ;-)
@Niche79 You have to see it in person. On the next corner to my street there is one owner with white X6 M, and when he is pulling it out of garage in the evening, boy does it look sick. Just see it in person, you would have your thoughts changed.
It's about 180k in Australia(not 300).But still double what Americans are paying.I love the new diesel X6M.Almost as quick as this car,but uses half the fuel.Although if you can afford 180k on a car,you are not going to worry about fuel economy unless you want to limit your trips to the petrol(gas) station!
My aunt has this car because i picked it out for her. So far the car is really impressive performance wise but it has too many problems. Its been to the dealer so many times its not funny! They are constantly telling us it has leaks and the axle had to be fixed.She does not drive the car like a race car but like a daily driver. The car is leased and she will now get the porsche panamera 4s. The porsche looks alot better and its smooth looking. Anyways if you plan on getting this car good luck.
@venom5809 M7 is not needed, if you need a powerful 7 series car either get a B7 or a 760Li.
The rear tires are not wider than a viper, as keviinn pointed out, vipers have 345 rear widths....i think you guys need an editing team.
@Roadfly um, no, the 325/35 tires are not wider than the 345s equipped on the Viper and the '13 Viper wears 355s.
this is not no occasional car, ppl drive the m,s as daily driver cars
"Dumping your Red Bull into your Jolt." Nice analogy. :)
During introduction she says 4.7 sec from 0-60mph, during road test.. guy says 4.5 sec from 0-60mph. In Description it says 4.3 sec from 0-60mph. Very concrete answer in this Review
@373axle tbh i dont care if its made by bmw. if it was made by another company with the EXACT desing, i would still love it, though i dont like the interior. i just love muscular, big, aggressive looking cars and i think the x6 is one of the meanest looking cars.
bmw x6 show the world whos BOSS on thd raod
@ahmdawi Accourding to Car and Driver its 4.3, accourding to BMW its 4.5 and from 0-100 kph its 4.7.
It's a shame that it doesn't have a manual transmission. Almost no SUVs have manuals anymore... If the M5 had a manual option, every M-powered car should!
@keviiinn vipers have 345 rear width
Bring More Worries
@saboobuu Nope, it cost 113,000 dollars, its like $1,360,000 pesos
by the way she ended up getting the m6. I have video up check it out. Its pretty nice i would of preffered the m5 though because the 4-doors. I have a daughter and its annoying getting to the backseat lol
Yeah... many high dollar cars are headaches, thanks for the info
soo good!
@373axle mmm who knows... i think the x6 might be better for "racing" just because of its shape... besides id much rather a normal v8 x5 over the m version(personal opinion... those weird bucket vents look good on the x6 but are horrible on the x5.)
I guess my opinion has much value, I've driven it several times, my friend has the X6 M. It's a joy to drive, that's obvious, it's still pointless.
90,000 is kinda lot for this, they need to lower it. its a very nice car, but a backup cam as an option is a terrible mistake by BMW
honestly, $90k, and a rear view camera is an OPTION? out of ur fucking mind BMW
The price is the deal breaker for sure... Load up a Lexus RX350 and it still costs half of this thing.
Jin Guan but a Lexus could never deliver the performance this beast brings to the table, the experience of driving one of these will only leave a driver in relapse for addiction.
I would've preferred that they made a Z4M over this.
Wow I guess I was right about the X6 hybrid being pointless.. the X6M out powers it by 70 horse.... outruns it by a second to 60MPH and gives up a whopping 2MPG on the highway.
in mexico cost $113,000, really expensive
Did anyone notice that the driver hit the pavement in min 1:29
?????
Damn Jessi looks a 1000 times better than this thing.
I don't get BMW, they will make just about everything with an M option but for some reason, the 7 series gets no love.
That just makes no sense.
Two different "SUV" Ms but no 7 series M.
That is just stupid.
@memepowers 183 414,00 USD in Russia
this looks like a big ass car. id take a cayenne or Q5 allday
3 words: MASSIVE DOUCHER MOBILE!
My neighbors have one of those !
@chigasaki06 I know, it tries to do two things at once but ends up doing both both half assed. And plus it's ugly imo, BMW's Panamera...
@JohnLRice Ok, QL - Moscow #2
Haha, I'll check out the vid
The M6 is much more capable. This doesn't make much sense.
so lemme get this straight i pay $95,000 and then i have to pay extra for a stupid ass camera? WTF
32docholiday People who buy cars like these dont worry about money. just imagine thw cost of fuel to own one of these. I believe BMW is doing what it can to lower the MSRP by not making the rear view camera stock equipment. After market rear view cameras can be added for under $100.00.
During the first 32 seconds of the video I can't concentrate on the car.... :(
Waste of a twin turbo...
@supercrazy55555 hahaha agreed
Have you been or driven one? if not, your opinion is pointless.
Waste of money.......as much as i love Bmw
this car is just a mess. we all know we're not gonna go off-road with this car. why not just get a M3?
I honestly think this vehicle is pointless.
imo it kinda looks ugly
This thing is horrid and pointless a bad move by bmw.
