- Blizzard fundamentally altered the way enemies work in dungeons in a shotgun approach to fixing a very nuanced problem with boosting. I'd like them to keep classic classic, and revert the dungeon anti-boosting mechanic they implemented in Season of Mastery.

We cant buy gold, we cant do GDKPs, and now we cant dungeon boost for gold. But its a-ok that everyone got thousands of gold exploiting developer oversights via incursions at launch and Fel Portal exploits. No problems there right? Blizzard is just ridiculous. If im paying you 15$ for my subscription how i play the game is my business.
They never ask you to pay.

I hated SoM for that change. I liked the challenge of ZG croc farming and they took it away.
I'm a old Mage Booster and instance farmer. I pretty much spent 90% of my time in Mara and ZG back in Classic with my mage.
When Blizzard made those changes to Mage Soloing in Dungeons it pissed me off. Now we have Incursion which is essentially same principle as Mage Boosting in Dungeons, except you gotta move with a group and click shiny things on ground or talk to NPC who gives you a report. The double standard blizz now has is ridiculous.
I enjoy dungeon farming, so I agreed with you. Blizz can remove the XP gain, but give us a ability to farm as we used to.

Agree 100%! I assume they try to fix an issue primary related to gold buying with this mechanic but that only target mage (because of classic vanilla) but with new Sod rules (noGDKP, boosted xp, new way to earn xp), this makes no sense (moreover, hunter can still perform those pull even with increased mob speed)... Anyway, let's hope they will change their minds and let mage enjoy big solo pulls again!

As a hunter who got in on this in sod i hope it stays a thing. Its probably the most fun ive had playing this game, doing huge pulls and having a loot fountain at the end.
that's awesome. I definitely do not want them changing how hunters farm.

They could make a exp debuff after 1 minute giving just 10% exp.
But it's blizzard and they don't care now it's cataclysm.
Mostly to end gold bots, not level boosting
But those bots gain gold by boosting. I've seen it.
Not sure they care if the mobs have a speed boost of a perma stun when they are fly hacking through the dungeon and never get hit
y i always loved the solo farming, also never boosted people. i would like the same thing. leave the farming mechanics the same just limit the amount of exp ppl get while beeing boosted.

The "meta" is to get people to endgame, so they can raidlog and lvl alts. The circle is neverending, and it is the weirdest shit ever. To me it was always the journey to lvl 60. The people I met tanking dungeons, or possibly grouping up to do Jinta alor elites. (Got my first pair of edgemaster´s up there) Those memories and experiences is what trigger my nostalgia, at which point I just fold and say "Take my money"
Wow classic should be all about going into the world, doing quests with your friends(or make friends), do pvp, gather resources, enjoying the magnificent soundtracks. Not spamming dungeons or incursions all day.
Easy solutions like limiting the amount of times you can do the same dungeon per day or nerfing the nightmare incursions to not get the same quest over and over again.
Edit: The wow player will always choose the most efficient and boring way to play the game, so as a company, it's your mission to do something for their own good.

you're missing the point of what his video is. we're playing classic because we want the old game. certain things like the solo farming on our mages and squeaking by mobs or outplaying something on a gigantic pull was what we did back in the day. They took that away from us. another class coming along and doing it better is cool. we don't care about that. take away the anti solo farm mechanics used against "ToS". which is basically whatever benefits them
