For me the remote play connected notification is still at the top of my screen
Remember guys you're gonna need one hell of an internet connection to have the ps5 stream via the internet to your PC, then have your PC stream to whatever streaming service you want. If you internet sucks you'll get constant disconnects from remote play session and big losses of video quality.
I’m trying to get a decent stream setup before Hogwarts Legacy drops next week. I do have a capture card available that I mainly use for my Switch streams, do you think it’s better for me to use it with my PS5 as well instead of the Remote Play? (It just seems that for Remote Play to work there’s a lot more elements but I don’t know if there are some benefits to it as well)

A capture card is just a way to connect the console directly to the PC right? Like it records it as well as displays it live?
So which capture card did you get and how’s the quality of that?
For some reason I cannot get the audio to be captured via remote play from the audio capture or new app audio capture beta. This is for the single controller. Then when I use two accounts, my microphone does not get picked up at all in streamlabs
I'm assuming I can just plug in headphones to my yeti mic and still hear stream and game while being able to talk on the yeti mic? After adjusting the settings you explained. Also, is there a webcam you or anyone else recommends? Thanks for the helpful video!

So are all these settings found in obs as well or would you suggest using and learning stream labs Before trying obs? I personally would like to stream my content and then edit it down for UA-cam videos so I’m not sure which one would be better. Stream labs does look nifty though
Streamlabs is much easier to use but OBS has better settings

What if you accidentally logged into your main psn account instead of the second psn acc and when you go to the settings wheel on remote play an after trying to access it remote play application turns off an dissapears everytime you try to access settings to signout your main

Hi! I really appreciate the video!! Could you explain how to hear the voice chat when you plug in a mic to the playstation? Currently there is no audio once I plug my mic in - I am using a Yeti- Blue. Would I need to connect my headset to the PC or my playstation to hear game and chat audio?
I'm trying this currently and they must have patched this method or something. When I click onto my primary, it disconnects the ps5 from remote play. If I try and just play from the guest account, it doesn't remove the remote play icon with the language method.

Just a question, I did a test stream using this method but I had constantly dropped frames on my PC, even using the dynamic settings network on streamlabs how do I stop that? If I use the ethernet cable should fix it? I'm also gonna try with those settings as well
changing language doesn't seem to remove that annoying "remote play" sign in 2023/2024 any ideas what Im missing?

You don't have to link the controller, if you play directly from the console while it's casting it doesn't need connected. Also, you can change the remote play settings within the app to run higher frames, go to your remote play settings son the console and switch off the "remote play connected" to show off and if you're streaming it then open up the Nvidia control panel and go to program settings and run PsRemoteplay on high performance and it will run a lot smoother.
How do I avoid lag when playing? Do I need to connect my controller directly to my computer? I have been using Bluetooth route

In this case both are pretty equal, didn’t notice any significant differences. And I prefer OBS as I have more control and it’s less resource intensive.
I’m having this problem where my party’s audio is way more clearer in my stream as if they were the ones streaming and mine is really low. Any ways to fix that I had all my settings right, all connected to my headset and everything.
