Simon Schama is right, there's nothing wrong about Zionism, without it Israel wouldn't have existed and jews still a scattered people. For all it flaws and faults I respect Zionism for its astonishing accomplishment to build up a nation within 50 years since Herzl proclaimed his ideas. Everyone who blames Zionism for all what is wrong between Israeli's and Palestinians should take an honest look at it's own country and origins first...nation building is never peaceful.
