A History of Britain: By Simon Sharma. In his The Empire of Good Intentions episode. Who would want to commemorate Bentinck? He didn't care about the culture of India, he just went ahead and ended Sati. It only consumed 500 women a years (it was actually an average of 581 a year). Simon Scharma. Brown women's lives don't matter. Not even worth getting the maths right. These so called good people are monsters in disguise.

Hard to listen to this talk of people belonging to a place - when we think of Palestinians, but I know you have spoken out about this ethnic cleansing by Israel.

Rather shallow thoughts for a professional historian. He should have known that the war in Ukraine was planned and masterminded by NATO, Britain included. He should have felt a bit of sympathy for the 14 thousand children and civilians of Donbas killed by the Ukrainian Nazis before Russia started a military operation to protect them. Being a historian, he should have known that even 80 years ago warfare was enough mighty to eliminate the whole city. So if Putin did really aim at killing Ukrainian children, there would be millions of them killed. But we see nothing of the kind. Russia shells military targets only. It's not Russia that should be blamed for the fact that the Ukrainian military prefers to locate them in residential areas.
And the most stunning is that the British historian is incapable of understanding that the Ukrainian regime is a Nazi one. The same kind of regime in Germany murdered 6 million Jews in WWII. And Schama is a Jew. Maybe he is the same kind of a Jew as Zelensky, who betrayed his nationality, historical memory of the Holocaust, and his grandfather who was fighting the German Nazis in the Red Army.

Special military operation to take over Ukraine?? Was the 2014 attack a special operation? maybe to gain port access?

@@dilshanfernando3100 'To take over Ukraine', 'genocide of the Ukrainians', and all other expressions of the kind are from the Ukrainian narrative of the events. You've got brains, haven't you? Use them and try to think methodically. If the aim of the operation was to take over Ukraine, then Russia would've intervened with at least one million army. Russia is the size of France if you know. Ukrainian Nazis had been prepared for years as a tool against Russia. Their military had been trained by the country pumped with NATO weapons long before 2014. Despite its constitutional obligation to be neutral Ukraine aspired to NATO membership, which is unacceptable for Russia. In this case, NATO would've taken a decisive advantage over Russia. This is the main reason for military operations in Ukraine. There are other ones like defending the population of Russian-speaking territories. These people chose to be with Russia because they didn't accept the Nazi coup of February 2014. Otherwise, they would've been annihilated by the Ukrainian Nazis. I call them Nazis because they openly declared about killing all Russians including women, children, and old people. What would you call those who support Nazis?
