I wish Posh Sidekick had a lower starting rate for growing closets, like mine. At $40 can a month I just can’t afford it, but if they offered a lower rate, I could grow with it.
I hear what you’re saying. $29usd is a good value for what they provide. But there are other options with less features out there. Think of it this way. If you share your closet 5 times a day, it takes 3 minutes to open app select all and share. That’s 15 mins a day and hours a month. For 1.25 a day I no longer share, send offers, run silent shows, or relist items. It’s worth that every month. But depending on size of your closet these tasks can be done on your own until your business grows to allow for it!
Great sales Tabs. Let's hope Posh picks up soon. I have a similar business model as you and don't undersell items just to make a sale. Yes, sometimes an item sits longer, but I am in this to make $. Particularly good recent items. Besides, don't have bins to shop at here.

I think we source a lot alike. My top selling brand is lululemon. I like to source higher end activewear and outdoorsy items. I also try to only source items I can list for at least $50. I’ve learned a lot from your videos and appreciate you sharing your knowledge! I think reselling has changed in the past year or so and I don’t know if it’s due to live selling or just the economy. I’ve started to hear/see several live sellers backing away from it due to low profits. I wonder if live selling will become only for the pallet sellers. I watch WN shows where they’re selling 200+ items per show and having 2 shows a day! Just thinking about the shipping makes me exhausted!
Yes I agree I try for those asp’s but having been settling for less depending on what’s available to source that wk. I would agree we run similar❤️ as for that shipping part 🤮 never could I😂

Hey Tabs, some great sales. I wish I found even a fraction of the Lulu that you do haha. I do see a decent amount of Eileen fisher here on the east coast, and probably sell a piece every other week or something.

@@TabsMcCaffrey not sure. My main thrift store chain imports their inventory from New England area so it could just be that it’s more abundant in US (not necessarily east coast) and I am getting to see some of it. Who knows lol. I’ll keep selling it though!

I also came across a Love and Lemons Mini Dress that is missing the slip lol selling as is though cause slips can be purchsed for cheap on Amazon lol In my case, the dress is black. Still worth the discounted price!!
Also, bang on about economic hardships being major contributor to slow sales. Even the thirft stores have been slow this year in comparison to other years. Secondary Marketplace isn't going anywhere!

I'm a US seller on poshmark, and i have no idea how to get on your level. I'm currently only selling my own clothing, I haven't tried to go to thrift shops. I am plus size and mainly shop at Torrid so that's the majority of my closet. I feel Torrid is over saturated and sold for dirt cheap in live shows.
Start small and build. I have a playlist for tips and tricks

Thank you for sharing! I always love your videos! Question: I am a new seller on Ebay and I'm not sure which Canada Post service to the US I should choose. The lowest fee is without tracking but I don't choose it because I prefer tracking but then US buyers would need to pay up for the shipping. I'm not sure if this is a deterrent since shipping within the US with USPS is so much more economical. What shipping service do you use?
Depending on cog of item I would do untracked… but I now use stallion for mine. I recommend trying to find a crossboarder courier, best rates

Do you ever split your transactions at VV to save more? Like doing two $50 transactions with a 20% off Coupon or each. The ladies at one of my VV locations are pretty chill about that.
Lastly, how much does Stallion charge per parcel? My courier seems a bit excessive at $3.50 per parcel. Really eats into profit sadly.
Yes I always split purchases! I usually use the self checkout then I can do what ever I want😂 oh gosh. Stallion is 70-90 cents a parcel unless it’s quite heavy then 2.99.
Also, what are your thoughts on Mercari removing seller fees and Poshmark still having them. Just curious. I love Poshmark and plan to keep going but i have only been doing this a couple months but have had decent luck on posh

Im not sure I claim all my shipping discounts as losses. My accountant figures that all out. Also buyer want shipping discounts.

Hi Tabs--so..yesterday I made an offer to likers and as usual it included a shipping discount. Early this morning I made an offer to likers and the shipping discount is optional. Is there any news on an update because I did some research and cannot find anything.
Not sure if it was with my shoppers or to a bundle I know you can bypass the shipping discount. I use offers to likes for 30 % offers and. My shoppers bundles to send 40% no discount
@@TabsMcCaffrey It’s just the regular offers to likers, not the my shoppers bundles. That has been the only way to bypass the shipping discount on an offer. Btw, I’m on the US side. I asked around and apparently there has been some chatter that they are rolling it out. Apparently not everyone has access yet however. And there has been no announcement from Poshmark. But, I have been using it all day. Personally I hope it stays and everyone will be able to choose as it allows for more flexibility.
@@TabsMcCaffrey well that was short lived, lol. I woke up this morning and it’s back to required. Not sure if it was an experiment ‘test’ or a glitch for some that they corrected. Hopefully it’s the former and they revisit it. We shall see, I guess.

No offense but with Dolls Kill, almost no one is going to pay that much for their shoes now. I would never expect to get $100. Their shoes are such cheap fast fashion. They'll fall apart after only a few wears like most of their clothing. I bought from Dolls Kill before and I was never impressed with anything from them. Their sizing is completely inconsistent and that includes the shoes too. Everyone in the goth/punk community pretty much hates them now, kids might still want to buy from them but they sure aren't going to pay up.
