Envy have been my favourite band for the last 23 years. I saw them on their first tour to North America in Buffalo, seen them in Chicago, and in my hometown of Toronto headlining once and supporting Deafheaven another time. Everyone in the world need to know about them!
Maintaining a consistent musical style over time is the most difficult of all. But Envy has done it. And yet, the possibilities continue to follow. If there is anything that can only be proven by continuing, it is Envy's activity itself. I hope that this style of music will continue in whatever form it takes.
