Thanks for the video, good to hear from you again, loved the scenery and the peacfullness up there. We all need a place to go and get back to our roots. good luck with your cabin build , would love to see that happen. keep up the graet videos and stay well. All the best to you and your family.
Robert, Thank you for sharing your grandfather's cabin with us all it is truly a peaceful beautiful place to reside. I'm looking forward to seeing build the new Cabin and how you make out this winter up there trapping. I'll be sending prayers your way for all your plans to be blessed brother. Has always much peace and love from northeast Texas 🤠
Hi Robert, great video at Granpas Cabin. Love hearing the stories from your past, we don't have a lot of that with cultures or families being so global now. You remember a lot of history through your Granpa and are now passing it on to your family and subscribers. Good to save your ways as we are being guided from them and it is not healthy for everyone. some off us need the land as it's our whole reason for being a happy human:) Take care, all the best, peace from the Peace. P.S. Anyone hear drums playing after Robert stopped drumming. I was sure I heard them faintly from across the lake.
Good to see you Robert B., and Happy Anniversary. We only get a few trips around the sun, so keep making the most of your journey. You are a natural teacher and guide. Good thing you two quit smoking. Tobacco taxes feed the government in Ottawa with more money while people they deny healthcare to get sick. I quit smoking 30 years ago, I still drink a bit of booze, but I can't seem to quit coffee/tea..... need that teapot. Coffee in the morning, tea in the afternoon.
Hey Robert how are you very good too see you my friend welcome back my granddaughter shyanne says hello and your awesome stay safe and travel well lance and shyanne
Robert thank you for the great video as always. My wife spends many hours a day with yarn in her hands she was very impressed with the blanket said it looks very good.
Congratulations both of you for the 2 years smoking free!!This is quite an accomplishment. Both my parents stopped at 41 years of age. They are both 93 today. He started smoking at 14 when his father passed away.He said the trick is not to start when you get those craving at first. They will stick around for a while but will disappear. If people only knew that 32 different chemicals contained in the tar can cause cancer. The fun thing is that from day 1 , your lungs starts to clean itself.Your smell and taste will be different.By the way ,nice to see you back!!!
I was watching the Baird Bros. adventures, when they reached the height of land in Northern Manitoba, they mentioned some historical facts, that is traditional Dene land, learning this prompted me to do some exploring, the Dene people have a huge tract of land all across the North. Congratulations on 2 years off the tobacco and also on your anniversary..
R u going 2 do any tanning hides videos again. Would love to see a beaver and a linxs tanned out. Some friends brought me a big old nasty bear hide. I am going to ,ake rwhide for drums again. The bear makes such nice base sounds. I started making rubberband wraped brum sticks with sylicone oround the bands, then covered in thin leather, long enough to make fringe and add a few feathers. I love to drum you taught me a lot about tanning and such thanks rob.happy trails my internet friend.
Your pictures are awesome, wish we could catch lynx we have plenty but they are protected, we can’t use killer traps or snare’s now unless they are in a box with a small opening or the under water so we don’t accidentally catch lynx . 50 miles across the border into Canada they are trapping them lol .
Build your cabin. I built my cabin (14 x 24) when i was 53 took a year and a half but i did it all myself. Now i am 65 there is now way i could even dig the footings lol
