I trapped near Tanacross in 1987 ... amazing experience on dogsled. The views and the crunchy-squeaky sound of the cold cold dry dry snow ... I haven't heard that in decades down here. We missed several cats that year, but had good luck with marten, and prices were great. Mr. Robert, you are the kitty slayer for sure, your grandpa is surely proud.
I still remember the little baby food jar with the trapping lure ... beaver castor, rotten whitefish, and berries. By the end of the season I loved it's scent...
I hope ya read this it's almost Christmas, and I am not mailing cards out no more so here it is and you can thank me back right here this Is the cheapest way to say hello. Merry Christmas Robert and a I hope ya find your percila in a 🍐 tree. You 2 have a safe holiday season and I am so glad you are still filming your adventures. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU.
Who is this guy? He artfully blends old school survival techniques with new school video technology, along with great narration. And I also got a perfect tutorial on how to fell a tree with a chainsaw. Nice !
I,m around " mont tremblant nationnal park" in Quebec, Canada. I feed wolves with fish for the last year, i,ve noticed a mini wolverine living with them, ridding on big bird too....could you show us the biggest beaver dam, biggest beaver = biggest wolf....you should start " antler/ horn carving"..!.. anything about " windigo beast" ? ;).... show us some cave around, the windiest, dryest place with the sunniest exposure....best hunt is where they can easyly hide, big rock garden area, mostly dried river bed, glacier bed....peace.Simon.
You are just doing great ,no need to change ,your woman is doing a great job on the camera, Gives your videos a better look .Keep them coming. Watching from Gander ,Newfoundland. Peace

Do you have any good recipes for the meat of your catch?
Robert, I know the video is 9 month old but, why cant the traps in your cabin not be used ? They look in working condition? ✌🏻🇺🇸😎

What season/year was that?
That's really smart to keep the chainsaw next to the wood burning stove !😂 Anyways enjoy the fire 🚒🔥

End of season bells is romance to nature
Grandmothers rabbits should be making a comeback now that the lynx’s are out of there.
Doing well
I don't understand how you can burn fresh cut Conifer wood without burning your house down

Anyways you should sharpen your axe 🪓 seriously 😮
