Yeah I almost felt bad for him, until I realised he's a millionaire and if football doesn't workout for him he will just have to live like a normal person like the rest of us. It wouldn't be the end of the world. Grow up.

@@viralknockout Ah yes. Because famously having money eliminates all emotional problems. And I’m assuming because you’re commenting on UA-cam and referring to yourself as a normal person that you eat hot meals every day and sleep in a bed and in a home with wifi. Well, you’re privileged compared to a lot of people. So I hope you’re never upset or depressed about anything in your life, because I’ll point to all those people that are financially inferior to you and say your feelings don’t matter.

I’m there with you richarlison. As someone who struggled for nearly a decade with depression. I can say that if I had spoken to someone earlier continuously to treat my mental health I wouldn’t have to suffer such a miserable pain. I chose to deal with it myself as if no one would ever completely understand me. But I was wrong and I shouldn’t have been so stiff about it. I’m doing alright now but doing it on my own could’ve ended disastrously. And that’s not worth the risk. Also had my family and mainly my parents as a strength near the end when I needed people in my corner to talk to and work things out. Mental illness explains unhealthy actions, but doesn't excuse it. Past abuse explains abusive actions, but doesn't excuse it.

I'm super proud of Richarlison. Footballers and any other athletes should not be shy to speak out about mental health. Some of you have given us fans easy access to your daily lives, and some people have used that against you. From fans screaming all sorts of profanities during an actual game, to some continuing with that abuse even after the game on social media, leaves athletes with no time to just "FORGET", even just for a second. They're people too and we love them for the entertainment they provide for us. Lets be more caring, and lets not keep quiet about mental health. Great job Sky Sports, this is really inspiring.
