Soon after that the board fired the Sports director and football director, Mateu Alemany and Jordi Cruyff, who were Xavi's main support , andDeco was brought in to replace them. Everything went pearshaped afer that. Very important players left or were sold next summer window, most notably Busquets, and no proper replacement was ever brought in, even though Xavi begged for one till he was blue in the face. Xavi is the type of coach who can achieve, he was second in Laliga for two seasons and won LaLiga in his second season. We did not have money for players. I think he did the task at hand perfectly to stabilise the team, he brought in all the young boys Pedri Gavi,Lamine,Curbasi, Fermin, etc. Flick could never have built this Barca like what it is now.
The biggest mistake that Laporta made after returning to the presidency was bringing in Xavi as the main coach of Barca. Four years were wasted. It would have been better, and I had hoped for his arrival since Laporta took over the presidency, whether he or Klopp, and making Xavi an assistant coach to gain more experience. He is Flick, gentlemen. He is truly a genius coach
Difference between Xavi and Flick is that Xavi was trying to build a family and bond relationships between the players, while Flick is really tactical and trying to push his team as much as he can. Both of them are really good coaches, and this comes from a Barça fan.
I think Xavi's leadership style is more like that of a group of friends, while Flick's is more like running a company. Being a leader is about establishing roles, not about being everyone's equal.
Can we stop the media who are hiding what xavi did for us. Believe me, he was the best in that situation. He was, is, will be a culer by heart. He bleeds blaugrana. We should give him the credit he deserves.

Insane how Barcelonas main coach went to Xavi to Flick and they're both in this video. I feel like good things are coming for the Barcelona team this season.
Is it not concerning that at minute 7:28 Hansi demands a verbal confirmation of his players, doesnt get it, but moves on. This can be interpreted as a lack of leadership.
It is objectively very bad yes. Its a clear lack of authority. I was shocked as a German when I first saw these behind the scenes. To me it slso gives me the urge to stand up myself and to try to get in my teammates minds that this cant go on any longer (if I was in this team and I wanted to win this). But nobody really wanted because the manager didnt create any hype. Also the country was depressed by covid though
I can only say.. Flick is seen very critically in Germany, despite his six trophy strike with FCB in 2020. People know it was a lot different than normal seasons, it was the major Covid season 19/20 and it came all out of a sudden. After his job in the national team he lost a lot of believe and a lot of German people nowadays believe he is a one time wonder rather than an extremely good coach. I think the truth is in the middle somewhere. But the story about Xavi and Barcelona is an absolute mess. It’s so embarrassing that club. Once “més que un club” and they believed they are the role model and the enemies from Madrid are just a bunch of expensive players and a club without heart. Well, it’s the real opposite in the last decade and it gets worse and worse. And nobody but the club itself is to blame. FC Barcelona is an absolute perfect example of “how to not do things” as if it was planned to be that way. Whenever you think they couldn’t do something as it would be a shame, they prove they can also cross that line. They ended up being total crap and lost so much of their sympathy they had until 10 years ago. It’s really a shame….
Flick got sacked from Germany after those speeches, lol. Meanwhile, Xavi's speeches helped win a league in his first year and put Barcelona back in the Champions League contention. They might have reached the semi-finals if Araujo hadn't made that stupid fault.
I wouldn’t rule out saying Xavi is not good coach. He has beautiful tactics. He was just not experienced enough to train a big club like Barcelona. That’s for sure. No matter how good we performed in the league but we couldn’t perform well in UCL and UEL. That’s the truth.
Im a bayern fan i love xavi. But you got a very god trainer with flick. Trust him. Dont blame him if he suck the first games. I dont want barca in the next champions league as a bayern fan
Such a bad faith comparison of speeches. Flick isn't yelling at his players during his intro to preseason, it was at the world Cup right before Germany were knocked out. completely different situations 🤦♂️
@NoFear-qv1js but he didn't fix the problems and now he is trying to come to another team with big big even bigger problems and if he can't help in a germany situation with amazing players to call up at his disposal then how can he help brokalona? xavi at least had the locker room on board, cultivating a project.
@NoFear-qv1jsYour comment didnt make any sense, because the coach chooses all the players he wants and is responsible for their mindeet. Germany was the worst it ever was and the main reason is obviously the manager. There is no doubt about that.
Xavi was eagerly awaited while Koeman struggled with the team... then he came, and won the La Liga title after many years, hoped that he will be the next Ferguson as a coach... :D I'm curious what will be when Hansi will be struggling, now he did a miracle also..
this videos is very very fake, this is the first conversation of Xavi Hernández with Barcelona team when he arrived , hansi flick was talking after months and months of meeting and konowing eachother
Hansi Flick halftime rant was during World Cup 2022 Last group stage game vs Costa Rica. Halftime. Germany leading 1-0. Spain winning against Japan 1-0. Meaning Germany was on track to advance at this point. Not sure why he is yelling at them like they are losing 3-0, clearly did not work as in the second half ,Costa Rica took a 2-1 lead and Kai Haverts had to bail out Germany with two goals in quick succession, they ended up winning the game, but it didn't matter as Spain ended up losing to Japan. The real bad performance as against Japan, but still this aggressive halftime talk from Flick was not the right approach
This is down to audience. You need to be patient with young guys new to the big stage. Thomas Muller is so experienced you can just go off and the important things get through.
You can't compare the first two 'team talks' flick is speaking at half time of a world Cup match (probably the ko rounds) & xavis 'speech' is when he first joined Barcelona, he's letting the players know what he expects/rules of the club.
One thing you should clarify is Hansi is only being this aggressive because he just lead his national team to their worst worldcup run in history, while Xavi is talking to a team who were comfortable and suddenly got injury ridden after winning League and CDR.

People think that this man willl magically turn around things in Barcelona with all those toxicity in the club. Only time will tell if he is worth the hype

Who's here after 4-1😂🔥

Why tf i felt like i was watching a horror movie when flick came on 😂
Insane how Barcelonas main coach went to Xavi to Flick and they're both in this video. I feel like good things are coming for the Barcelona team this season.
I’m waiting for the fans to turn on Flick because realistically we should be selling our talent and fixing our finances instead of trying to compete.
Welcome Flick 😉🔴🔵🙌🏾
This reminds me of a video I watched in history class
Is it not concerning that at minute 7:28 Hansi demands a verbal confirmation of his players, doesnt get it, but moves on. This can be interpreted as a lack of leadership.
That team was dead.
In the 90s, there was a tale when an Italian coach once shouted: Eine flasche leer!
the way he screams in german is familiar to me especially for my grandpa
war dein Opa an der Ostfront?
Hansi flick was awesome on his speech 💬 ..., he give more advice to kept out of pressure , and that's we called the great manager
rudiger smiling at the start of the vid, he knew what was about to go down lmaooo
Cesarz Hansi Flick ❤❤😍
New Ceasar in FC Barcelona 😍
Everyone has their own style. These were different moments.
The comparison can only be on the results of BCN with Xavi and Flick.

Flick sounds like a dictator

Xavi is a legend! You can't say anything against him
Damn .. im a bayern fan but im happy that you got Flick as Trainer Barca .
Such a bad faith comparison of speeches. Flick isn't yelling at his players during his intro to preseason, it was at the world Cup right before Germany were knocked out. completely different situations 🤦♂️
Hansi flick is empowering the team with confidence

Xavi is putting in them the feeling of companionship, friendship and trust. Flick is now adding the aggression that the team needs.
How are people this inspired by Flick? The dude ran the Germany national team into the ground lol.
@NoFear-qv1js What is certain, is that Flick couldn't turn the German National Team around. He didnt find a solution.
The German team has a lot of internal politics ruining the team's mentality... since 2016 Euros they've been FINISHED
Kimmich drinking water through the entire horror show as if he bailed out long ago
Xavi made Barcelona what it is now. XAVI gave the young players chances. He gave players like Yamal and Cubarsi chances to play.

Being soft ain’t taking you nowhere
You can't compare the first two 'team talks' flick is speaking at half time of a world Cup match (probably the ko rounds) & xavis 'speech' is when he first joined Barcelona, he's letting the players know what he expects/rules of the club.
One thing you should clarify is Hansi is only being this aggressive because he just lead his national team to their worst worldcup run in history, while Xavi is talking to a team who were comfortable and suddenly got injury ridden after winning League and CDR.

Love Xavi. Hans is giving a huge momentum for the current Barça but it was Xavi who gave the foundation of this team. Xavi is not a experience long term manager. He's starting now. And by the now, he did an amazing job with Barça. Thank you Xavi.
I don't know how to think about it but what Hansi is doing is not motivating at all.
You always must provide a motive. Just yelling does not help anybody. Fighting for what? For the manager? Fighting to not being yelled again.
Xavi did an amazing job to be honest.
Prawdziwy Przywódca 😍
This only made me miss Xavi.
Every coach doesn’t need to hype and shout to motivate the team things are different between both of them in delivering the message and tactics they both are good but xavi will come back with experience and prove them !
2:23 "you have to pay 1000 euros" 😂😂😂 how financially poor Barcelona is?
I am a Merengue, but I hope Flick makes Barca stable and competitve again. What Laporta did to Xavi was horrible, and I hope he doesn´t get voted by the associates in the next elections. Also if we win the 15 UCL and Mbappe comes, is going to be extra hard for the culers, good luck!
