27:20-29:29 The entire Bravely Default fanbase: "A *good* fairy? In *Bravely Default?* Blasphemy!!" I kinda figured Adelle's sister was connected to the main bad guys somehow. Also if a character has somewhat white/silver hair, 90% of the time they're mostly not normal.
Maybe I wasn't paying attention, but the Adell reveal seriously shocked me lol. The entire fairy narrative seemed to only appear in this chapter because I hadn't heard a peep about fairies until now and I thought the entire fairies even existing in this world thing was fabricated so I didn't think we'd see one at least not yet.
Hey, Omega put Adelle as a Dragoon for that scene. Nice, man :teehee: And the reveal that shakes our soul. Faeries aren't supposed to be our friends :omegaevos:
I feel like in a sense Helio was worse than Domenic. Domenic at least thought he was doing good, that he was giving to the lord of dragons. Helio knew what he was doing.
Part of me keep seeing Helio as Hubert from FE:3H, and for Gladys, she definitely reminded me of Abby from the Last of Us 2. Must say though, I was just as flabbergasted as Elvis and Martha when Adelle revealed her secret in front of everyone (Of course, her name started with an "A" fitting the theme of this series lol.)
Not really. Murder is still murder, especially on that scale. And her dying the way she did was perfect. Left it up to you to figure out for yourself whether or not it was warranted or tragic. Until Shieldboy came along and fucked the whole thing up.
@@tonberry2670 Meh, in her defense while she did commit those crimes, she owned up to her sins and started to atone for it when the enemy forces invaded the country and she fought to defend it.
The problem arises when the game basically tries to exonerate her of all the shit she's done in the Galahad sidequest. Victims or loved ones of victims have no obligation to "forgive" those who victimized them. As a matter of fact, that mentality generally allows real life abusers and criminals to continue to get away with said actions, at the expense of the mental health of said victims. Forgiveness is not the key to moving on, nor is it the same thing. Justice is. In the main game, that justice was, in the best way possible, received. Then crybaby shield boy comes along and the "hero's" essentially tried to rob justice from husband of the woman Gladys murdered by gaslighting him into believing that he's the one in the wrong for having his issues with the woman who murdered her. And shifting all the blame unto Helio. Which is bullshit. Yes. If Helio didn't do his thing, then Gladys MAY not have gone down the path she did, but you know something? If Gladys didn't make the decision to do her thing, then she wouldn't have led to the deaths of Lord-of-dragons knows how many
@@DouglasStewart99 If the game just left the Gladys issue at the door during the main game, then there would have no problem. But then they had to preach their whole "forgiveness is key" nonsense, and the narrative surrounding her crumbles to dust
huh deja vu, I feel like we seen this tank/dps and healer combo before but I can't put my finger on it  also, Adelle is a CENSORED!!?? now she is super sus
Gladys: Hah! I can counter you four times for every single attack, and you have to hit me!
Counter-Savvy: That’s adorable, sweetie.
Thats exactly what I used. But then I realized how scary of a fight this would be without it. Like it carries SOOOOOOO hard lol
I love how Elvis is shocked by the reveal he's literally left speechless and frozen in place 🤣
Damn, Seth really just did the bishop in by tossing a flask of piss at him.
Damn, that's holy🤣🤣

There’s an entire village full of innocent fairies. But yeah. Rimedhal believed that fairies were evil.
I must admit, I did NOT see what reveal about Adelle coming. Especially when we didn't hear hide or hair of her sister since... The very start.
"Fear not, brothers and sisters, I shall preside."
**Theme of Crazy Asshole End Chapter Boss Plays**
I see nothing wrong with this.
So the bravely series has finally done it, they made a good guy fairy
Nah Crystfairies are still all evil
@@VGPorage not quite, Crystfairies are created by certain false gods to do their bidding as well misleading people.
13:07 gosh, that must have been a sight to behold... just a giant pile of bodies...
Lol
@@nihilistguy2605 that's definitely a fitting name

But the actual evil fairy’s name didn’t start with A…
9:04 - Proof that the bird is indeed the word.
Adelle is the first fairy to convince me not all are bad
They might be real but they weren't a threat to RImedhal.
Did Gwilym just get Nebby’d?

Real talk, this chapter absolutely freaked me the f*** out. I was SO ANGRY the first time I went through this.

Elvis.exe has stopped working, please slap him to reboot
“Will do!”
XD
I HATED Glady's as a character at first but she does redeem herself later.
This is what happens when you let your grudge stop you fom seeing the big picture...

Nice to see Spirit master is back.
EDIT: OK I WASNT EXPECTING THAT
11:04 Okay, that's it. Time for revolution. DOWN WITH THE CHURCH! DOWN WITH THE CHURCH! *DOWN WITH THE CHURCH!*
Helio and Gladys seem to be written as a foil to Selene and Dag.
I had soooo much trouble with this fight I swear, you made it look so easy, don't know how you come up with these strategies.
It got me ready for Domenic’s lair.
18:26 The sad thing is, he actually could have been a wonderful man.
It’s chilling what Helio does to people when he doesn’t need them anymore.

I hate to break it to you Gladys, but Airy isn't in this game.
