  • As the weather gets hotter, the bass fishing seems to get much more difficult. But that doesn't have to be the case. The one thing about summer bass fishing is how it sets the bass up in predictable spots and patterns. In this video, we'll talk about what those patterns are and how we can use them to make simple and easy bait selections. #fishing #bassfishing #fishingtips

Small ned rig from the bank. Been using smoke colors lately since that's what's working best

As far as the heat changing the way I fish, I would say that I tend to try to find shady areas for both the fish and myself, too. Fishing in the mornings is a cooler part of the day and is more comfortable. Late evenings produce better for me with the top water bite right around dusk. Keep up the great work, Lowbrow. We really do appreciate your input. 👍🇺🇸

The heat pretty much dictates everything about summer bass fishing! I'm always hoping for at least a little breeze!

Lowbrow has the best basic teaching online..No frills just fishing. As straight forward as Richard Gene the Fishing Machines channel. Love that you fish out of the bassraider 10e and a simple trolling motor. Caught some of my best out of same rig prior to drinking the koolaid and buying bass boat and electronics. Bassraider and kayaks are great options.

The last few days the bass haven't bit any of the normal colors so I thought outside the box and put on a bubblegum trick worm wacky rigged and fished it like the floating worm technique and I caught 15 bass. 13 on that bubblegum worm and 2 on a choppo 90! Never underestimate the pink worm guys! Today made a believer out of me!

That consistency is such a help in the summer. It's been a strange one here, it's August and the grass here is still green. Lol. We've had better rain than most summers which has changed the water temps here over a traditional year Things are a bit cooler. Like you said, that oxygen is such a key factor when its just hot day-after-day.

We've been under a drought here for about the last decade so the extra rain was a welcome change for the most part. But it has helped keep the lake levels up and the bass seem to prefer it.

Hard to beat a dropshot Roboworm in shallowish water. Great way to mimic the small bait fish.
