Mary, I'm a novice sewer. I followed your apron video this afternoon, Sunday. I really enjoyed making my apron for my 6'4" son. I followed along just fine. Thank you, Ann❤
Awww that’s great! I’m so glad it came out good 🤗

@@MaryMakes me too!
Hi 👋, I feel like I definitely scored finding your channel!!🎉. I love the way you explain and don’t go on and on over the same point. Lol looking forward to making this for my son in law for Christmas. Thanks again 😊
Awww thanks so much! Hope they come out great!
Thank you for such an awesome tutorial! I agree, you are great at talking through the process and giving little tips here and there. I say the more talking the better! I am definitely subscribing to follow for more projects! I can't wait to make this apron!
Thank you so much Jennifer! You made my day!
New subscriber. Yiu are awesome! This is the best instructional sewing video in UA-cam!
Thanks so much! That’s a HUGE compliment 🤗🤗🤗
This is an AWESOME Apron-Making video. Well Done!
Thanks so
Much!
Good job explaining everything. Thank you from a newbie
Thanks so much! I’m glad you found it helpful. Lots of easy beginner projects on my channel 🤗
Great video. I like the angled fold-overs on the pockets.
Thanks so much! I like to give my aprons a little extra style!
Thank you for the video. I think I will be make bg apeons for Christmas.
Are you near Lynchburg,VA? I would love to check out your booth if you are doing any craft fairs nearby.
Aprons are perfect for Christmas! I’m in Fredericksburg between Richmond and DC.
Have you considered using the quilting safety pins? It might be an option, so you don't need to worry about reaching in and getting poked. Loved your step by step directions!
That’s definitely a good option. I’m
Just partial to glass headed pins since they are nice and slim. Some safety pins can leave a much larger hole in the weave than I like.
Just found your Videos and love watching you, you explain things so even a beginner like me can understand....thank you for all your hard work and great videos👍👍👍👍 new subscriber😁😁
Going to make my honey his apron for his Valentine gift, since he loves to cook, thank you for this video!!
Yay! Thanks so much! I hope he loves it. It’s funny that you thanked me for explaining because someone commented the other day that they wanted an edited video of how to make the apron with less talking… she said I can’t listen to you for an hour and I was just kinda like sorry honey talking is what I do 🤣🤣🤣 can’t help you there 😉 lol so THANK YOU for appreciating my long winded videos lol
Can’t find your ruler grip. Looks perfect for me. Your instructions are perfect to follow.. and takes the scary out for a newbie 👍😊
Sorry for the delay. I bought that trip years ago and I don’t know if they make them anymore but there are lots of grips you can buy on Amazon. I’ll send you a link.

This one’s similar to mine because it sticks down instead of using suction cups.
Thanks for the instructions!
You’re very welcome! Thanks for watching 🤗
Have can we get a turning Wanda like yours? It looks great
I know isn’t it wonderful!!! It was a gift from a viewer. The best tool that I have that’s similar in shape and size is a nice large knitting needle!
Thank you for sharing this apron pattern with us. I love it. Have you ever made one from overalls
You’re welcome! And no I have not. While I love the way repurposed denim looks I have to admit I don’t love sewing with denim. Mostly because I sew fast and that can be difficult with dense fabrics like denim.

Do you ever add pockets to both sides so it can reverse?
Yes I have several times infact. I design all of my patterns so they can be reversible if desired. I always make my female aprons with a funky print on the back so you can wear them on either side. I’ve found when making aprons and selling them at crafts shows that men don’t care nearly as much about it being reversible as women do 🤣

Hello ... I am enjoying your tutorials and was wondering what is the brand name of the see-through ruler @ 22:50, the one with the hand grip.
Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺
Hi Rosemary! The ruler is an Omni Grip 24x6 it’s one of the best tools I have! Here’s a link for the same one. amzn.to/3U0bS64
I should mention the handle I bought separately at a quilt shop years ago. But there are several similar stick on handles you can purchase like this one amzn.to/3TVDPfj
Thank you so much. I shall investigate! 🌿🌺🌿
Do you add velcro to the neck ties or just tie them together?
Honestly I hate working with Velcro. I only use it when absolutely necessary. I wouldn’t even consider using it in an apron because it could easily get caught up in your hair around the neck line. Also aprons need to be washed regularly and Velcro can do some real damage to delicate clothing in the washing machine. This straps in this pattern are made to be tied so you can easily adjust the apron for different wearers. 🤗
I really followed your advice about the top stitching that is “in your face” at the top of the apron and it turned out SO good!
Thank you for thorough instructions. I am not see a link to the ironing mat??
Go glad you liked it. Here’s the link for you! HUGE Table Top Ironing Pad- amzn.to/3gWwtWc
Where did you purchase your ironing pad. You video was explained very well and I like the freezer paper idea. Thank you and be blessed.
I purchased it on Amazon. It was a game changer! Here’s the link amzn.to/3gWwtWc
On the waistband-I got the 3 inch wide, but how long?
I like 30 inches you can go longer if the person is larger our you like to wrap them around the front to tie 😉
@@MaryMakes Thank you!!
