Skunk2 Tuner 1 cams for a GSR factory cam gears

  • This was the adventure where I figured out how to get off cam gears without losing special keys, and without rounding off the bolts, using a technique that I saw in another UA-cam video, and I’d love to credit the person who had the idea, but I don’t remember who it was so if you see this and you know you made that video I’ll be like hey it was me and I’ll be like yeah it was that dude just a short little video that leads into the one to follow where we actually get these bad dogs locked in.

    Just asking which one is good cam for b16a b18c or b16b cams

      Just depends I have to stay Cali legal so this was the only one I could run on the streets. But stock cams rip too. I originally wanted type R cams and was told these skunk2 were a little bit more aggressive

      @@marvinreyes6270 there are a lot of free online compression calculators where you can put in the size of different parts like the bore and the height of the piston. And with this build, I was trying not to reinvent the wheel. I wanted to model it as close to the Integra type R as possible.
      And I’m sure that there are a lot of ways to make more power than what I did, but cost being legal in California and reliability would led me to these choices.
      And I knew I wanted a slightly more aggressive cam then stock. But I don’t know what the difference would be in power on the Si, GSR, civic and integra Type R. But in the stock form then ITR has the most “power”

      Thank for your replying my messege. Now i will stay better itr cams some told me i have to buy skun 2 tuner 1 for my b20vtec

      @@marvinreyes6270 yeah I think I was told skunk2 tuner 1s are just a little more aggressive then ITR. And still California legal. And I couldn’t find a set in good condition for the same or less then the skunk2s cost new.

      The spare b16 heads I have that I pull stuff from usually have major defects where my machine shop said they couldn’t be salvaged so I strip them for parts
