He's using verbal gymnastics to make him feel like he's been some sort of criminal for which he must then feel guilty and which he then springs a way for him to be "forgiven" and "saved". That is join my religion. It's utterly dispicable emotional blackmail and is nothing more than manipulation.

You and I broke God's law. We're both guilty, you and I. If you're in court, ignorance of the law is no excuse, and disbelief doesn't negate reality. That's like sticking your head in the sand, thinking you'll be fine because "If I can't see God, God can't see me". But you're deceiving yourself.
You and I broke God's law. And so I want you to think about the most vile thing you've done that you're deeply ashamed of in your heart. That thing that nobody knows about, that you haven't told a single soul. That thing you've tried to convince yourself it didn't happen. God saw it. And still, He loved you enough to step down from glory, take on flesh, and endure the punishment for all of those horrible sins so we wouldn't have to. He offers us the free gift of eternal life. All we've got to do is repent and trust in Jesus Christ.

@Kevin HM8404 As an atheist, you wouldn't harass Christians if you didn't hate us. Or at least dislike us. But man, there's evidence all around. The complexity of the world and all that's in it, how it all works together, and how beautiful it can be, it speaks, and is but a whisper of the brilliance of the Creator. And there's scientific facts and medical guidelines in the Bible that weren't established by the secular world for thousands of years after the Bible was written. It's evidence of divine inspiration. It grieves me that you don't want to listen. It doesn't have to be this way. Genuinely, I don't want you to end up in hell. As humans, we're like a rich man who's drowning in a lake with a bag of gold tied to his waist. We don't want to let go of it even if it means we'll drown. I was raised a JW and I am so thankful for your work. I had an awaking thankfully and found truth by relying on Jesus and would not wish that religion on anyone.

That's beautiful, and many thanks to this gentleman for being so patient with this man who has been deceived by tainted JW doctrine. And yes, if any part of our salvation were contingent upon what we had done on earth, no one could ever be really sure they'd done enough; not 100% secure in the promise of eternal life with God in a far better place.

The delivery of the gospel in this way is just so beautiful to me, not condemning him, but making sure you tell them the truth, and even him saying “we are both criminals” could not be more true according to the 10 commandments.

I was brought up JW. This man dealt with this gentleman in such a graceful way. Give to you that he was not a full fledged JW he was studying with them. The hardcore JW are much much harder to touch their hearts.

Jesus gives clear instructions for everybody to follow, like to drink the wine and eat the bread. JW thinks those are instruction just for just the annointed, but Jesus did not give separate instructions for the great crowd. They are instruction for Everybody. In a 1985 Watchtower, JW said that Jesus was not the mediator for everybody but just for the annointed. They were still trying to figure out who Jesus was. It's really sad.
Read Rev. 1: 17-18 and Rev. 22:13. Jesus is the Alpha & the Omega, First and the Last, Beginning and the End. Also Isaiah 43:10.
Hello living waters eu, i want to start having one 2 one conversations as well but can never get people to sit with me. How do you guys get people to sit down for an interview?
Just a guess, but the back of their shirts ask the question " Are you a good person?" And they have a camera and interview station set up.
They could wait until someone comes up and comments on the shirt or they could ask passerbys the same question until they get a fish that bites.
Then they could ask if they can film them.
I think that is what happened because you hear the man refer to "being good" a few times as if it was part of the conversation before the interview.

What I usually do is hear if someone has a problem, I would ask them what's going on and start preaching the Gospel to them, giving them the Good News so they can see the light in the darkness. Other times I share my testimony with them and this one works really well because it catches their eye and want to hear more so you introduce Jesus in you testimony (obviously, he is the one who saved you after all) and let them hear hope for their lifes. You can search on how to evangelize, or ask you pastor or Simone spiritually mature, I'm sure they'll help you.
I think having a camera and mic helps attract people. Remember people love getting attention. There is another video by LWE where they have a big sign reading "Are you a good person?" And at the end John gives the person on the stand five pounds. From that I understand they set it up like a challenge, take the good person test and receive £5 if you pass it. I thought it was a brilliant idea to get people to hear the gospel.
Personally I dont do interviews like this, but I look at the people around me and try to take the opportunities I get to be alone with them. Could be neighbours, colleagues, friends, etc.

Father in heaven thank you for setting up this divine appointment for Steve to speak with John Harris. Steve needs you Lord. Like many of us had before we knew your Son Jesus we had our own system of convoluted beliefs. Steve is no different and he needs the new eyes, new ears and the new heart that comes with being born again. You alone can provide that for Steve and please help him find biblically solid Christian friends who can help him grow spiritually.

Saints Help me im in trouble and persecuted by even false Christians. I need to find Saints in Scotland or UK and soon as it looks like im going to be homeless in September. Im bedbound 20-23 hours a day with spine damage

In this way we can reach them. God loves a man that is more concerned about the well-being of others than they are about helping themself. I realized I wanted to be like my heroes. God’s love for people wells up inside of us after we have repented of our sins, and have found peace within by accepting his mercy & sacrifice. As these sorts of ministries conveniently gloss over or act as though James 2:19-26 doesn't even exist.
The churches confuse salvation by various "works" of the **law covenant** that the Judaizers in the early Christain congregation wrongly held to and insisted others do, that Paul spoke against in his epistles, such as in the first three chapters of Romans.
With the different "works" James is talking about that are "works" which befit repentance that all professing Christians are to preform in imitation of the fine conduct of Jesus Christ. As proof their faith in him is genuine.
Faith without works is dead means that, if you have repented from wrong doing there will be works (Activity of some sort?) That shows you have changed your attitude in respect to your belief in God and Christ.
Jehovah's Witnesses doing the preaching work is an example of this and is the height of what Christianity is supposed to be about.

In these videos regarding sin, Ray Comfort also consistently fails to note the biblical distinction between the habitual "practice of sin", which those in the world who do not know God regularly do as described at 1 Jn. 3:4, 6. Where the Greek present form of the verb for sin occurs. And indicates a continuous or progressive action.
As opposed to "commit a sin" in isolation such as at 1 Jn. 2:1, where the aorist form of the verb is used. That indicates a punctiliar type of action and refers to an occasional random sin that a true Christian will still commit from time to time, as an imperfect human being.
But then again, Ray and others ignorance here is not really all their fault I guess ...
Since Christendom's Bible translators fail to bring out this distinction in many of their mainstream versions.
And merely render each form of the Greek verb "ἁμαρτάνω" as "sin" in both passages. ...

Not only would "before" be the Greek preposition "απο" instead of "εν," or the term "πριν" or something. But when I checked the phrase "In the beginning" at Gen. 1:1 in the LXX, it read the same way, "εν αρχηι," with no definite article before αρχηι as well like Jn. 1:1.
So should Gen. 1:1 in the LXX therefore read ...
"Before the beginning God made the heavens and the earth???"
And natually the show hosts and callers to the show thanked Hawkins for this "great scholarly exegesis of the text."

While professing to love God David lusted, coveted, committed adultery, committed murder, caused God to kill an infant (2 Samuel 12:14-18), caused his wives to be raped, angered God so much once that God killed 70,000 people. Who deserves heaven or paradise more? David or anyone who has NO blood on their hands?
