One extra thing to note: The blue man who was surrounded by food appeared later on in the day (you can tell by the fact that it was darker), so even though the later scene could have been a representation of the feast of the gods, the earlier scene clearly wasn't.

The scientific facts book is great i just read it recently… Although i would point out that its quite heavy going in places and needs a certain level of understanding and insight that was challenging even for me so even moreso for a non English speaker. So id suggest you have this book published in different languages so people dont have to use a translator and end up risking key points being lost in translation 😊
I think the opening scene wasn't about the bible or religion, just a statement how they want to blurr the lines between what is considered female and male, as in history xy chromosomes was seen as male genetics and such men even if they appeared a bit feminine due to genetic defects, still were not allowed to outperform xx women with what one might consider male advantage. Some nations are still able to tell genders apart, some others (like back in middle age) are forced to rely on paperwork and circumstantual evidence such as childhood pictures.

We can express our disgusts and boycott the games as that will be a loss in revenues, plus it hasn't died down since the opening ceremony. Wow it was amazing to see how mind blown the young couple were when it hit them and they realized who Jesus is and what he did. What a beautiful moment to know that we have a God that loves us that much and we did absolutely nothing to deserve it. Truly a humbling experience. I pray that the Holy Spirit will come upon those young people and lead them into sanctification and truly being born again, in Jesus’ name. That they will be on fire for the Lord and lead others to Christ 🙏🏽

The IOC has turned the Olympics into an outlet for their agenda. They've proven daily they don't have the athletes wellbeing at heart...the list of issues growing, and have gone so far as to put men in the ring against women. They could have made the opening an inclusive and beautiful event, but they chose to make a mockery of it. Paris will forever be known as the shame of the Olympics.

That was amazing witnessing. The young couple truly seemed to listen and hear the Gospel for what seemed the first time! May they come to fully understand repentance and trust in Christ’s work on the cross. And the woman graciously listened… May she not miss out on salvation because of the actions of others who have done evil things ‘in the name of God’. That is not what God has commanded us to do and not in the Bible. I hope she tries reading the Bible to find out the real Truth. May she realize the reality of God and His just judgment is not dependent on her believing in it. ❤

What a lovely couple, I pray that they truly come to the Lord, accept Him as their Lord and Saviour, ask forgivness for their sins and are filled by the Holy Spirit. The other woman closed herself off from the start but she was well mannered enough to listen patiently. I pray and we can all pray that God will make the words she heard from John, come real to her, her heart will be forever changed and she will become a daughter in Christ.

Do not blame the artist. Or the painting. Remember, those days few people could read and paintings were meant to educate people on the stories in the Bible. There are different mediums of communication. That is what artists do, communicate visually. Even God instructed that artists be used for decorating the temple and temple objects.

I was not upset by it as a follwer of Christ Jesus. They are the one's that must answer to Him for it. God told us that this would happen. We are not at war. This is a war between good and evil, not the flesh. Forgiving them and praying for them is sometimes all we can do. God told us that there would be some that he would blind from the truth for they did not have eyes to see or ears to hear. This is why Jesus spoke in parablles, as it was not for them to know. It is in these times, we are to pray for them and lead them to the Gospel to save their souls, if it is possible. They may or may not be part of the elect. But then some may be and using their free will un wisely. But offended I am not. Sad for them is what I am.

As a Christian what I saw was horrific, but not for the fact that it offended me. All those people who were involved in creating this. I feel horrified for them. It says God shall not be mocked. It also says it is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God. If I were them offending me is nothing compared to what awaits them. What non Christian’s don’t seem to realize. Is you can’t escape death and that’s when judgement happens.

Jesus Christ when totally innocent of harming anyone was hung on a cross, which in itself was regarded as the most humiliating way to die. Apart from that He was mocked and jeered by the very people He healed and fed and loved. But He responded “Father forgive them, they know not what they do.”
I therefore feel deeply sorry for everyone who had anything to do with that spectacle. Not in a condescending way, but rather in a mournful way, like when a friend loses out on a great opportunity. If they knew Jesus and by extension God the way I’ve been blessed to know God, they would never have done that.
