Great content, great presentation and energy ! I'd have subscribed if it wasn't for the channel's heavy focus on Apple products, which I own none of.
I really wish there were options to get different keycap sets for this keyboard. I would buy it in a heartbeat if I could try different low profile keycap colors with it.

I swapped the rear feet to the shorter ones that came with the keyboard in the accessory bag. Feel less fatigue after long day of work.
Eh, it's okay, but nearly as great as he's making it sound. The "light" button is too easy to hit, which causes the RGB to change accidentally. You then have to cycle through the all the modes to get back to where you where. Also, it's missing an OPT key on the right side; which I didnt realize I used until it was gone.

At the 9 min mark: really hated the sound on both optical keyboards. Do you kindly have a similar sound recording for the mechanical versions?

Great review. I got this as my first mechanical keyboard. I love it as well tho I started with brown switches & think I’ll swap to blue or orange as I would prefer more Clicky.
Keep in mind that the Keychron warehouse is in Hong Kong. It ships from there, and if you don't like the product, you're responsible for returning it to there. Which means, effectively, there are no returns. Keychron doesn't offer a return label, so you can pony out more money than you spent on the actual keyboard, trying to return it.
Your name looks Scandinavian? I have seen a couple of retailers sell it here. Local delivery. But perhaps that is a new thing - not available 4 months ago?

Awesome review. I am using a MB Air M1. I am planning to buy one but having challenges on what switch to choose. This will be the first time to buy a mech keyboard. What switch is closest to the typing experience of MacBook?
Brown switches are probably the closest 😊

I got the k3 v2 with optical brown switch. I want to like the optical switch but the feeling of typing feels hollow and mushy in a way. I didn't really enjoy it. Typing accuracy on this low profile is great but the feeling of typing is just not for me. The mushy feel of the switch feels like typing on cheap membrane keyboard. Don't take my word for it. But that's just how I feel about it. I might change to linear switch just for gaming purposes. Beside that, I'm getting the K3 pro for typing.

no doubt this is a great keyboard. I am a Mac guy and the K3 is perfect for Mac users. It just doesnt have the enjoyment factor that a regular mechanical board has. But it makes up for it in slimline design, shallow switch activation. A very nice alternative to using the Apple keyboard.

For the love of god do something about the Capslock key. Can we have a lock on it? Im so sick and tired of having to pull the Caps key off and leave a big ugly hole.

How on earth are you getting 3 weeks on a battery charge, I am having to plug it in after 3 days at the best. Also, as far as I read: "Keychron advertises that the battery should last up to 34 hours with the RGB set to the lowest brightness."

How's the bluetooth connectivity? I've heard that the K6 has had some real slow connection times, which makes it quite tiresome to switch between different computers.
The only little annoying thing about this keyboard to me is their decision to put right command instead of option/alt key, since I am bilingual in Polish which has a lot of diacritics that depend on right alt key. Fortunately it has replaceable keycap and keys can be remapped.
I really want to buy this (it's already in my cart lol) but I'm not sure what keycap profile options would be okay to use if i want to customize my keycap colorway :(
Did you get hot swappable? Hot swappable is sold out and I'm worried about not getting hot swappable in case they fail or I want to switch. Have you had any issues?

my current keyboard is my trusty logitech bluetooth dinovo media desktop (now known as tkl) that i love! but its getting verry old and crusty,
now its time to upgrade and i am not sure what i have to choose,

Keyboard layout and software WARNING! There is a "Fn" key in the place of right "Alt". What's worse is that it CANNOT BE REMAPPED FOR some reason... So for anyone who needs right "Alt" to enter special characters in your alphabet, I wouldn't recommend this keyboard.
It's a pitty because the hardware is excellent. Seriously, I wasn't expecting such nice looks, heft, design and satin finish of the keycaps. The switches sound excellent and the tactile feedback is on point. All this amazing hardware experience makes the right "Alt" issue the more frustrating.

You said 1.5 mm travel but that's the distance to the actuation point. 2.75 mm total travel
The pre travel is 1.5 and the total travel is 2.75mm on the mechanical low profile side, the optical switch is smaller
I'm looking for a keyboard i can use at public areas like the coffee shops. I don't want something as quiet as a stock laptop keyboard, i want something that will make typing more fun, but not too annoying towards the people around me. Which color switch would you recommend me?

How did you get three weeks with backlight on? I’ve got one and I find myself charging it every night
Have you turned off power saving? because if you have the backlight on 24/7 then I am sure it will die much quicker.

Either this is a purchased review, or you've never seen a good keyboard)
1) Does the battery live 3 weeks? WTF?! Even the website says that the battery holds a charge for 36 hours, and that is an exaggeration, in fact there is 1 day. I can't call this keyboard wireless, I charge as often as a laptop.
2) The backlight is not the brightest, it cannot be called good.
3) Switches and stabilizers are not lubricated, there is no noise insulation.
4) The quality of the keycaps is very poor, and custom ones are very difficult to find, because keychron made it so that only their keys with stabilizers will fit. You can find custom ones, but the space and enter and others will be standard.
5) The keyboard is not programmable, but few people need it.
6) Some users have noticeable connection problems.

For me, on the right side theres a PgUp -> PgDown -> Home -> End key on this following order.
And I want it to be Home -> PgUp -> PgDown -> End.
Is this possible? This is really important for me later lol.
Unfortunately not, not wirelessly anyway, it might be possible wired in but it’s something I haven’t dived into if I’m honest

It’s technically not a V2 but a modified version they sent out to some, I actually reached out to Keychron when I saw it because I was not happy lol

It wasnt. They changed it about 2/3 months later. The people who pre ordered this keyboard like me unfortunately got a worse board and keychron only offered 10% off my next purchase lol Wish I never preordered it but aye lol

Plus it’s not good either because I’m not going to pay for almost the same board again two months later to re do this review but everything else is the same, just sucks that the one thing I would have loved on this keyboard they added it a short time after and the people that pre ordered and helped them make this board happen on kickstarter basically got stuffed!

Disagree about the keycap quality. They are terrible. The abs is very thin and get shiny very quickly and then grey looks and feels greasy even if they are super clean. The space bar in particular is atrocious…super thin plastic and flexes.
The stabilizers are all non-standard and not centered with the key switch stem so you cannot seamlessly swap key caps either!! That is inexcusable…they say it’s for stability but that is rubbish. The short travel and switch design means the stability is not a problem. Indeed, all the stabilized keys work fine if you take the keyboard apart and remove them. EXCEPT FOR THE SPACEBAR- which must use the stabilizers. So you are stuck using the awful stock space bar or You have to mod any other key caps. And no other stabilizers can be used either due to the design. Trust me. It’s a nightmare. Moreover, the keychron stabilizers are cherry style cros shape but the housing around them prevents the use of keys with standard circular posts.
The stabilizers just locks you in to keychron caps which is the worst thing about the keyboard.
I won’t but another low profile from them due to such things.

If you are an engineering student you should get a windows machine as if you are using programs like solid works, you would be better off with a windows machine
