Ravens and Darren mutually departed to help his life and career. They sent him all the way across the country to help this man. Respect too both Baltimore Ravens and Mr. Waller! When i herd the official story it was nothing but love. #RavensFlock #DarrenWaller
I had such high hopes for your career, back when Baltimore drafted you. My boys got your autograph after an open practice at M&T in your rookie season. I was very saddened when things didn't work out and the Raiders plucked you up. Then I heard about the drug suspension. And subsequently heard your story. I've always wanted to offer something (if able) to help young football players who were dealing with addiction. Apparently the NFL already does... I love that you were able to turn your life around, and are passing on your message ! I owe my life to my sobriety.
I grew up in the exact same place at the exact same time. When I was very young we were closer. However I went through a similar struggle and felt I went hard for the similar reasons. I’m proud of Darren I never knew he felt like he didn’t fit in. I could understand it coming from where we do though.
Mann I saw the Darren's Espn piece and have since seen little excerpts on him tell his story,'Testimony' And this still illlustrated it in a new authentic raw way ...Sheesh
This is a great show. Every episode. It's special because you can sense a certain level of humility and honesty you don't get from people performing in front of a camera.
I went to school with Wah, but as a person who is addictive to stuff I can relate to Darren waller in a way I use to go out to the bar then I joined 🎱 ball leagues then seen I would shoot 🎱 ball better when buzzed and one day I learned the hard way I got fired from a job i loved cause me and a coworker smoked a blunt n had a beer in his car lol I realized I had to quit drinking because it was affecting my thinking decisions in my everyday life so I stopped drinking and my coworker only got suspended but ended up quitting because they let me go and I ended up appealing their decision for firing me n won and put that I’m rehire able. Thank you for having d Waller on the podcast
God bless!! Wishing Darren continued good health, success and happiness. 2nd Wind, job very well done!!! Wishing you all much success!!! Peace and Blessings!!!
On a side note.. manscaped is legit. The only clippers I trust anywhere near my ballsack lmao. I’m still using the original lawnmower but I’m def gonna upgrade soon.
That is so true to recovery from active addiction you must be selfish with the peeps in yr circle including your family is a must DW is on pt so are you
He prolly got adhd or he autistic an das not no shot towards him or anything just the way he is he is displaying allot of signs an shi I kno it’s not cool to point shit out buh in both and I was super crazy at basketball buh quit highschool then college ball again after I just got super anxious and depressed and it was because I just found out I got both an it’s the stigmatism behind Austim and adhd that gets people pissed when people say they have it or accuse you of having it but it’s the way society has built everyone’s brains and also autism is 40% higher in blacks and my whole family has it but still deny except for saying yea you and your little brother ( who is visibly autistic and adhd and has a diagnosis) are definitely on the spectrum they cannot believe they have it because they are “normal” but both work jobs constantly changing movements and different assignments in which they masterd and exhibiting many other things they cannot see outside looking in 🤣
This is such a great episode. I love Waller and am thrilled he's a Giant but man this interview just made me love him more. He's extremely humble and doing great things. Wish he has an amazing career here at Big Blue.
This is so real, walking into certain rooms I always have to put a mask on. I drink a lot like Darren talks about, it’s hard going thru the hardships of life we’re all just looking for something to help our brain relax or even just forget / numb the pain. Inspiring comeback bro thank you 💪
I’m a GaTech grad and was a frat guy. I contributed to him being an addict. I did it to myself as well. I hope you’re well Darren. I can only dream of being as high. AA sober now
Its great to hear his story. I was rooting hard for Waller when he was on the ravens. But i am glad he was able to turn things around for the better. But can you imagine Mark Andrews AND Darren Waller with Lamar Jackson..... we would have won a super bowl in 2019!!!
Can relate to Waller man, 31 years old now and had a very similar path with addiction yet still struggle with things I still feel like I have a lot of soul searching to do but man I feel like it was destiny to have him on the giants been a life long giants fan and him joining the team introduced me to Waller and his story and it was the first time I saw someone on my favorite sports team actually have similar struggles like me, made me really hopeful for the future and I just love this man for the kind of guy he is and you guys for putting this podcast out there for people like myself, much love guys ❤

You brothers are doing good work. Positive content is important with all the trash that people upload to the internet.

Not a Giants fan or a fan of any team he’s played for but I am in recovery so based off that alone he is one of my favorite players.

This guy doesn’t drop the ball at all, as an addict alcoholic I’m rooting for his continued sobriety
Whatever the Giants paid Waller.... was too much
🔥🔥🔥
Darren Waller continues to disappoint his lackluster overhyped career
So I guess you're what, a top 10 tightend ?
