Sarah Carter. If you've ever seen Final Destination 2 (the one with the freeway pile up) she plays the main characters friend in the car at the beginning. She gets killed off almost immediately! (The main character in that movie by the way was played by A.J. Cook who would go on to star in Criminal Minds for 14 seasons!)
I shipped them the most from the day she appeared in Smallville. I never passed on her death and keep asking myself why such a move. Clana and Clois are far from what Clark and Alicia had in so little time. It was just a perfect couple.
That's exactly why she was killed off. The writers wanted to do the Lois Clark relationship . They had unwittingly created a character that was better suited for Clark than Lois was. Its a shame , because Alicia was far more interesting than Lois lane.
True. Louis was BORING AF!!!!! Such a poorly written and annoying character. And Lana got boring after a few seasons. Alicia was the best hands down easily. She had more character development in her short arc than the other two combined throughout the whole show
I was totally blown away by her incredible sweetness and the transparency of his beaming smiles as he looked at her. I think if she hadn't been so incredible, the writers might have never had her come back after the episode she first appeared in. It was the purest, most genuine image of love I saw in that series. I'm grateful for what little we got. I always thought it would have been so moving if Clark had just balled his eyes out when he lost her instead of, or in addition to, the anger. Sarah Carter forever. :)
Totally agree. This actually showed organic love, where the two complimented each other so well, making the other better. He learned, and paid for his trust issues. She learned and paid for obsession, and they each were forced to confront their own problems here. And they both learned in the end... Too late. Such great writing. These were the two people in the show that worked as a perfect coupling.
I'm watching a Smallville marathon with a friend right now and I just skipped Ep12Se04. He didn't notice xD I wished someone would have done that to me back in the day.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they can get Sarah Carter on to talk about her time on the show! Also, to the creator of this video...thank you! Beautiful job using a beautiful version of the Bryan Adams classic song. The video ended with perhaps my favorite moment between them where you can see how much Alicia truly loves Clark. Finally, thank you for not showing her death scene.
The best couple on the show. I wish they had so much more time together but if they did, I'm pretty sure the writers knew how hard they'd have to fight us to break them up just so Clark ends up with Lois. But Clark and Alicia are my endgame. They're perfect together.
Estava pesquisando música e veio esse vídeo que me fez lembrar da época desses episódios... Claro que smallville só prestou nas primeiras 4 temporadas +ou-, mas de todos os relacionamentos o com essa personagem foi o mais memorável. Teve também um com uma indígena lá num episódio das cavernas... Se a produção não fosse tão ineficiente teriam aproveitado muito melhor personagens como esses.
Alicia fazia o Clark se sentir bem e em paz, mas a obsessão levou a cometer erros... um casal perfeito os dois se amavam. Mas isso mostra que mesmo quando um relacionamento tem tudo isso, alguns erros podem acabar destruindo... Clark não confiou nela e esse erro custou tudo.
