More than a year ago I have seen this and it was so important to me to see that gay people, that I, can live happily ever after. Especially because I was just about to figure out my sexuality and had my gay awakening by falling badly for my best friend( never told her, but still ruined the friendship). So I searched more about them, because I needed to see the biggest gayest wedding and I then eventually find out about their whole story and it broke me to see the gay couple meaning the most to me break up so close before their wedding. It destroyed my hope of an Happy End with a woman I love. Time coming by I saw more couples, I got confident in my Identity and I now know, that I can live a full live and have a loving relationship with a person I love, even if Sanvers couldn’t have this. I never really realized how far Alex has come like meeting Maggie, discovering she was bi/gay, wanting kids, breaking up with Maggie, finding herself again and everything else. Their love story was so rich and inspiring, it honestly made me cry when they broke up. I am currently still in the closet and this beautiful love story makes me want to burst out "I'm Gay!" Like, "UGGGGHHHH" No! I want them back together!!! I would die a happy person if i could see them back together and married. And even their chemistry off-screen is soooo real! I'm gonna go cry now T^T

I felt so uncomfy & stressed when Alex broke down after Maggie rejected her... it was like seeing a parent cry for the 1st time. And when Jon said she was like a daughter & they cried together in the conference room... wrecked. And now they're both so different, I forget they used to all business & invulnerable.

More than a year ago I have seen this and it was so important to me to see that gay people, that I, can live happily ever after. Especially because I was just about to figure out my sexuality and had my gay awakening by falling badly for my best friend( never told her, but still ruined the friendship). So I searched more about them, because I needed to see the biggest gayest wedding and I then eventually find out about their whole story and it broke me to see the gay couple meaning the most to me break up so close before their wedding. It destroyed my hope of an Happy End with a woman I love. Time coming by I saw more couples, I got confident in my Identity and I now know, that I can live a full live and have a loving relationship with a person I love, even if Sanvers couldn’t have this.

I never really realized how far Alex has come like meeting Maggie, discovering she was bi/gay, wanting kids, breaking up with Maggie, finding herself again and everything else.
