Btw just in case people don’t understand how he managed to kill her despite her contract switching out her death for a random Japanese citizen earlier in the manga when Makima was talking about the story of the chainsawman in hell she mentioned that she would be perfectly fine being eaten by the chainsawman as she is a fan of his so it’s likely she had a part of her contract that would allow her to die specifically if chainsawman ate her, and since Denji is technically the chainsawman when he ate her it properly killed the current incarnation of her without killing every Japanese citizen first.
Japanese citizens died until he completely finished eating her. She couldn't regenerate quickly from denji's chainsaw due to it beeing made out of the blood devil's blood. She died after beeing eaten, since denji still loved her and eating her wasn't technically an attack, thus the contract with the prime Minister didn't go into effect.

This was such a f__ked up but satisfying conclusion for the narrative. It ended like it began: Denji once again by himself, but at least he has Nayuta who sees him as who he is and not the Chainsaw Man. In this sense, he got exactly what he wanted: L.O.V.E. And he fulfilled Pochita's wish by giving her lots of hugs. I started reading this like a typical action manga, not expecting much like Demon Slayer or One Piece. But when I finished it, I felt like I just walked out of a theatre at night after seeing a film that moved my soul. Chainsaw Man is the greatest manga ever made, and that is something I do not say lightly considering my first manga was JoJo. I have only read the American releases of Vol 1-11, but I will be picking up Vol 12 for my birthday when it releases in October.

I don't like manga as I consider most to be standard comic hero stories like DC/Marvel for that matter. I grew up on classic literature like Tolkien, Hemingway, Shakespeare, and Poe to name a few. So comics never really clicked with me as they couldn't hold my interest like the others did. But over the years, I tried a few that people recommended to me after I read a basic synopsis or two of what it was. If it clicked, I kept on. If not, I dropped it. The first one I ever tried was JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and that admittingly set the bar on an incredibly high level for me that only a few recommendations caught my interest. If we're counting anime adaptions as reading manga, here's some that I have seen/read: Demon Slayer (dropped after Season 1), Bleach, Berserk (Ongoing reading, but Lost Children was peak), JoJo (as I mentioned, Ongoing), Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Naruto (when I was a kid and with my old friends), Baki (dropped after Season 1), Kaiju No. 8 (Ongoing, but it's a poor man's Attack on Titan), Attack on Titan (gee, speak of the devil...), and FLCL. The recommendations I may check out in the future are Jujutsu Kaisen (since the two authors are friends and they toss ideas back and forth apparently), Vinland Saga, and Boruto so I can see why people are getting so bent out of shape over it. This was such a f__ked up but satisfying conclusion for the narrative. It ended like it began: Denji once again by himself, but at least he has Nayuta who sees him as who he is and not the Chainsaw Man. In this sense, he got exactly what he wanted: L.O.V.E. And he fulfilled Pochita's wish by giving her lots of hugs.
I started reading this like a typical action manga, not expecting much like Demon Slayer or One Piece. But when I finished it, I felt like I just walked out of a theatre at night after seeing a film that moved my soul. Chainsaw Man is the greatest manga ever made, and that is something I do not say lightly considering my first manga was JoJo. I have only read the American releases of Vol 1-11, but I will be picking up Vol 12 for my birthday when it releases in October.

I don't like manga as I consider most to be standard comic hero stories like DC/Marvel for that matter. I grew up on classic literature like Tolkien, Hemingway, Shakespeare, and Poe to name a few. So comics never really clicked with me as they couldn't hold my interest like the others did. But over the years, I tried a few that people recommended to me after I read a basic synopsis or two of what it was. If it clicked, I kept on. If not, I dropped it. The first one I ever tried was JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and that admittingly set the bar on an incredibly high level for me that only a few recommendations caught my interest.
If we're counting anime adaptions as reading manga, here's some that I have seen/read:
Demon Slayer (dropped after Season 1), Bleach, Berserk (Ongoing reading, but Lost Children was peak), JoJo (as I mentioned, Ongoing), Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Naruto (when I was a kid and with my old friends), Baki (dropped after Season 1), Kaiju No. 8 (Ongoing, but it's a poor man's Attack on Titan), Attack on Titan (gee, speak of the devil...), and FLCL.
The recommendations I may check out in the future are Jujutsu Kaisen (since the two authors are friends and they toss ideas back and forth apparently), Vinland Saga, and Boruto so I can see why people are getting so bent out of shape over it.
