You’re literally paying $70 for a game you’ve already played thousands of hours. All of those gameplay mechanics were already in previous CoD games. They knew people loved them, but they still decided to take them out. After some community backlash now they’re bringing them back, but the difference is that they’re now advertising all the features that used to be standard as selling points. Oh, and them not including the multiplayer component in MW2 Remastered now makes perfect sense. I’ll maybe get the game, once it’s on sale. F them.
not to mention that the sound design is worse as well as the visual clarity. if it weren't for the fortnite skins in the game, you could probably tell the difference between friendlies and the enemies

Microtransactions. That’s the only important reason. They hate you as a player, they don’t respect you and sacrifice ambience, game quality, and fun factor for making even more money off of you after already having bought their $70 game.

Okay, this does look really good, but.. Paying $70 for maps you've already purchased, and mechanics they removed on purpose... You almost made me want to buy it as well! Great video! ❤
What annoys me is that its just a reskinned modern warfare 2, same gameplay same class and Gunsmith system, Its the same game with ''Features'' they removed before, if you like the slower ttk and movement changes, go for it, otherwise dont its really not worth it in that case
This is an excellent point. This was my first experience with a slower TTK because I never played BO4, I think it was that had the 150HP. So that was cool to have, and the movement was amazing, but you're definitely right about it being all about nostalgia

I think that's fair! For me MW2 (2022) was one of the worst CoD's we've had in a while just because of the terrible movement, and visuals. I just felt like I was terrible at the game, yet I was great at other CoD games and other FPS games. So this beta was a breath of fresh air for me! :)
I play the s*** out of MW2 and after the beta I bought it and I actively tell people to never pre order as I was a Dev and it really does not help the grunts that made the game... I feel like MWZombies alone was enough for me to want to buy it. I love pve and pvp, I played a lot of DMZ but got bored so MWZ being basically DMZ but PvE with tough Ai zombies and the "new" mechanics in MP and Warzone will be FUN. I also never cared enough about a FPS to get mad about game mechanics. the honest truth is I didn't notice the changes between MW2019 and MW2 and I think it is because I do not follow any COD channels or look at COD news. This was such a great perspective to read! I personally didn't care much for MW2 (2022) because of the movement, and a few of the visual changes that made it harder to see enemies. When battlefield hardline came out, so many people trashed it because it was a BF4 DLC. This COD which is bassicly just reusing old content with a few mechanic changes, is getting praised, sure It's fun but is it worth 70 ? Not at all. Gaming right now is so bad to the point where people think this COD is actually worth the price tag.
I fully agree about the price tag being atrocious. I'm only considering buying it for the content I could make on it, otherwise, this should've been like a $40 expansion at the most.
It’s absolutely not worth $70 at all. Recycled MP maps from 2009 that aren’t even done well should be $10, CW zombies in a DMZ mode from MWII played on a map that was intended for BR should be $10, and campaign I’ll guesstimate it at $20 and that’s being modest as a quarter of the missions are being played on a old BR map from 2019. We’re looking at a total box cost of $40 and that’s being super reasonable. $70-100 is absurd and risky being that is made by SHG.
I agree SBMM is gross, and so is the music. But, the engine is good, just the decisions they made for movement and other stuff was awful in MW2. I think they have the flexibility to re-add in all of the core CoD features like good movement
I usually buy them for the campaigns, and then try to make a bit of content on the multiplayer - but this game feels weird since it's all rehashed maps, and re-adding in mechanics that shouldn't have been removed in the first place. But as a content creator it could provide great content... Hmmm.
