an hour into this. Naw man, I didn't come from Shorts. I woke up from a nap and this was starting, so I made some coffee, and now getting some training (and Thank you BTW), while its raining for the umpteenth millionth fricken time this year!! (PNW - geez really?! Is there not a plumber in the house? State? Someone turn off the sky before we turn into a sea!) Having 2 Road Kings and a Dyna, dumped a Road King once. ONCE! It's ok my dad dumped the same one once too. These YT vids saved my hind end! Kinda like a horse testing your character I 'spose. Why would an iron horse be any different? K, an hour n a half to go before class is done and dinner's here. I like your style of instruction. Thanks for this! Awesome job Tiff and Dan, nice bikes all of ya!

I love the info on your videos and how you explain them. There are two things I want to make. 1) "Practice gives you options" was my favorite comment at the beginning of the video. I learned that after taking an MSF course before I started riding. I say, "Information and training gives you options." That's what I told someone after they told me they dropped their street bike on a steep downhill slope while in road salt. He used his front brake and dropped his bike. But he didn't have the "knowledge options" from training and practice to not use the front brake in that situation. 2) In this video with Tiffany and the video with Fea, they both had difficulty being smooth with or covering their rear brake. I think maybe a little bit of that issue has to do with the size (length) of their feet in comparison to the height of the brake pedal. Have you ever suggested that riders with shorter feet lower their brake pedal from the stock position so they feel more comfortable covering rather than hovering over the brake pedal? That's just a thought. Good stuff you're doing!
“Landing Gear”… …I love that !!! 😂 I have a pastor who rides with us and he has been known to ask, “What in the world do you think those two little legs are going to do to keep that bike from doing what it’s going to do?” That just splits me open every time Pastor John says that!!
Rob. I appreciate all that you do. I enjoy the channel and watch about 3 times a day and I’m always learning from each ridership challenge and then I practice. I humble myself and always see things through various perspectives. Practice is helping but I need to get into one of these classes so that I can see how to truly improve. I want to make sure that I’m not training myself into repetitive wrong and building your in person instruction into action. I Hope to be in a class soon even if I have to ride down. When you have a weekend opening with good weather I would love to come down.
Great video! They both did great, both underestimate themselves. For not having practiced hardly ever, I think they will be amazing next time they do a session. One thing's for sure, if you have the wrong bars, practicing slow maneuvers will show it.

Question on your comment regarding Balance is zero percent once the motorcycle starts to move. I understand what you’re saying, but it’s confusing because the MSF insists as a first prerequisite that you have to know how to ride a bicycle and balance a bicycle in order to learn to ride a motorcycle because of the principle of Balance being paramount on a motorcycle. So, if you can’t balance a bicycle, you cannot balance the motorcycle. That is what MSF is putting in your mind. and then here you say Balance has nothing to do with the equation. It’s a little confusing could you explain. thank you.

Crazy she started on a ZX 10 a decade ago and doesn't have confidence with these maneuvers. I'm not knocking it! It just lets me know that regular riding is no substitute for this practice. I need to hit the parking lots often.

I appreciate the suggestion. Yes actually in this video, I told Dan that she would benefit from a lower brake pedal. Also, the foot shouldn’t be hovering over the rear brake. It should be resting on the rear brake.
