I would prefer to mount it under the hood looking out. I could do something similar in the rear. All I would really need is a camera lens in a protective case...very small with a wire running to the viewer. In fact, I don't really need an apparent viewer/control panel. That could be put in the front compartment or in an unnoticeable position. My purpose would be for security and to identify problems impacting my vehicle. At some point you will be able to project the video onto your car screen. You can probably do that right now with an app.

BlackboxMyCar I have Honda Civic. The only good spot (considering the wipers and the clean areas of the windshield) I can find is in the upper left corner. What do you think?
I'm afraid that if this is the case, this information will be lost, along with the camera -- as many of the newer dashcams no longer have a large LCD screen, they are very discreet--making them more difficult to detect by potential thieves
Hi 1MartinPL, just so you guys are aware as well, this was one of our earliest videos that we've created, so we were relatively less experienced when it came to making videos back then. Hopefully you'll find our more recent videos more informative!
Thanks. Much needed information covered in your video 🙏

Speaks volumes when there's no car break-ins in South Korea.

useful small tips. Thanks!
Your opinion on mounting Rexing v3 dual dash cam in a 2018 Chevrolet impala? Should I center it, mount right or left??? Thanks in advance.
Hi Kevin, typically we would recommend installing it in the center of your windshield somewhere behind the windshield mirror.
Hi friends. Anyone know the make of this awesome looking dashcam please? Heard something either CO300? DI400? Need to get a couple. Thanks
this is mostly not our concern. Our concern is getting fullest wide range of recorded virw as possible.
What about dirty windshield? The area in front of the mirror tends to be not swiped by the wipers.
Yup, you want to mount it in an area that the wipers go through.

@lesio333 - Sure, that works. The camera lens is wide angle so it does not necessarily need to be placed in the center of the windshield.
BlackboxMyCar ok thanks
Great info. Thanks
No problem! Thanks for watching!
I found passanger side behind mirror to be the best
A great choice!
what if rhey break in and take the dash cam too?

Dash cam needs to set in middle of window 🪟 as it's needs to catch left right road and path!
