I have to agree with all your choices but I must admit I was not expecting Ahsoka to be at the very TOP of your list. It's not that I disagree, far from it in fact! I suppose it's because of how we've seen Ahsoka since her debut during the Clone Wars, when at first she was still very young with so much to learn, but ironically the wars helped her mature and progress much faster than a Jedi of her age would during times of peace. Her many battles and experiences made her more worldly, and she was often surprised by the various experiences she had, and from them she took something that helped her grow, not just as a Jedi, but as a person. After she was framed for murder and terrorism, and shocked to be cast out by the Order, she began to see something similar to what you spoke about Qui-gon - The Jedi Order had become too involved in the politics of the Republic and more interested in serving the Republic rather than keeping the peace among the people. This was made all the more evident when only Plo Koon apologized on behalf the Jedi Council whereas Mace Windu and Ki-Adi Mundi didn't admit they were wrong and instead shifted the responsibility of their mistakes onto the Force and claiming it worked in mysterious ways. Offering to promote her to Jedi Knight seemed more like a bribe, and while I was sad to see Ahsoka walk away I didn't blame her. It was wonderful to see her back in Rebels, and that her compassion and dedication to helping people had not waned. But when came the long-fated reunion with her former master in the Season 2 finale, I felt her words when she declared "I am no Jedi!" after Vader mocked her by stating revenge is not the Jedi way. If anything, Ahsoka is exactly the sort of Force-user I would like to be in the Star Wars universe - A defender of what's right but unafraid to do what needs to be done without crossing an uncrossable line.
Wow everything you just said was spot on! In the last part of season4 final episode of rebels I had the most amount of chills since I saw the last Jedi and thats saying something. Seeing Ahsoka standing there in that cloak was undeniably one of the best scenes in rebels overall.
I personally was not saddened when she left the order. I let out an unabashed cheer of triumph For atleast she and a very small handful of others had REALIZED how Bloated,Complacent ,Arrogant and ultimately INAFFECTIVE the Jedi Order had become. Blinded by thier own HUBRIS. I mean come on they built thier central temple, directly over A SITH temple. Thus that combined with thier own mounting hubris blinded them to the re-emergence of the Sith from the shadows of the galaxy
Ahsoka lives. Revan's Lightsaber. And, I think this is one of the best, most accurate lists you've constructed. And not just because I'm partial to Ahsoka.

Ahsoka Tano is my favorite grey. At first in Clone Wars, I didn't like her. I think it was in season 3 that my opinion of her started to change. I also like Kyle, Revan, and Galen.
Glad you mentioned Kyle Katarn. He's definitely my favorite Jedi in general, mostly due to his philosophy that its more the intent rather than the ability itself that is good or evil. It seems most people forget or dont know about him.
Revan should be on top he has mastered both the light and dark side broke the Jedi code to save lives during the Mandalorian Wars and fought the Republic in order to save it from the Sith empire sacrificed his decision to be with his wife (Bastila) and son so he can face the Sith. Flowing through all, there's Balance There's no Peace without a Passion to create There's no Passion without a Peace to guide Knowledge stagnates without the Strength to act Power is blinded without the Serenity to see There's freedom in Life There's purpose in Death The Force is all things and I am the Force
You forgot Jolee Bindo from Knights of the Old Republic. Also technically the Jedi Exile, and all the force users she trained would also count as Grey Jedi since they were not members of the Jedi Order even though they help rebuild it.
Liam Geyer Actually, wouldn't she be a Dark Jedi or a Grey Sith at the least. I mean she was a Jedi but she left the Order and Jedi behind and it would be pain to identify every former Jedi that became Sith as most of the Sith were Jedi and were founded by former Jedi.
Her jedi teachings were distinctively grey, and once she was banished by sion and nihilus, she became truly grey. She did return to her role as a sith lord, but that doesn't discredit her past.
Liam Geyer I am not discounting she was a former Jedi but I was pointing out will need a longer list we count ever Sith's past, as a lot of them were Grey Jedi before they became Sith. Besides, I would label her more as a Grey Force User then anything for she never identify herself as Jedi as she said she left the life of the Jedi behind, and until the end of the game, she wasn't a Sith until it was time to test the Exile
“For a Jedi there is no place for a rainbow Force,” Luke said quietly. “There is no room for compromise. We walk the path of the light side, or we fall into darkness. There is no gray area, Ben.” ~ Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker (Page 187 Fate of the Jedi, Book II: Omen)
My favourite was always Quinlan Vos, that guy ROCKED! And he managed to pull out of the Dark side under very hard circuimstances, which makes him a regular badass...
Stupendous Wave, I think your list is a pretty sound one. The only change I would make if I was the one making this list would be to make Ahsoka Number 2 and Revan Number 1. Both of them had a tendency to not play by the rules of the Jedi Order, but the reason I would swap them is this: Ahsoka never tried to use the Dark Side to save others, but Revan did.
+Gecko G4ming Is there some evidence for that? How would you even compare them directly? Wasn't Revan known for being both a master swordsman as well as an adept user of both sides of the force? I'm not saying Ashoka's not strong, I just don't think it's particularly close between the two of them.
Revan is a Grey Jedi ? I Saw him as a normal Jedi gone dark then manipulated into returning to the light side. The rest depends on your choices in KOTOR.
MrCharlesdew the main choices are said in legends and other references through novels and games etc. he is after Star Wars kotor 2 is not a Jedi by using frowned upon methods like force lightning but is still a good guy until he was forced by the emperor to split into to force beings, but ultimately he was a grey Jedi until that forced state of good and bad. The force was not made between the Jedi and the Sith but just the force.
i am so happy kyle katarn is on this list, i want more star wars games with him as the central role. Jedi outcast was amazing, its time we need new amazing games like those
Tbh after playing a bunch of kotor swtor and comics etc... Revan will always be my favorite Sith/Jedi I always loved the fact that he keeps coming back to life :)
If your detached from either side and able the proficient used the force and saber skills. It still counts as a grey jedi with both side, in my definition.
-GALEN MAREK IS A SAVAGE GREY JEDI! -Ashoka Tano is a beautiful Grey Jedi -Qui-Gon is a wise Grey Jedi -Reaven Is The LORD OF THE GREY JEDI AND THE SITH! ALL HAIL LORD REAVEN!
Thank you! What's so special about this dude? Yea has some cool achievements but when matched up against the big boys he just isn't in the same league... He's like a better in shape Han Solo with a lightsaber... Darth Caedus Stomped him and think about how many would have stomped Darth Caedus
you've earned a new subscriber. I like all the Grey Jedi mentioned in the video, although I didn't know much about this Revan guy's backstory, I am very much impressed with him from your knowledge. Also purple lightsabers are my favorite flavor. :D
If you want to learn more about him, you should definitely play the Knights of the Old Republic games. The first one takes place 5 years after the Mandalorian War, which is what caused him to leave the Jedi Order, while the second one takes place 5 years after that, and they both speak heavily about his story. Plus, they're incredible games.
well why not? The jedi order doesnt force you to use a green or a blue one. btw it was the decision of his actor to use a purple lightsaber, so it most likely doesnt mean anything at all xD
Leon S I like that Revan turned away from force completely, for a time, and was able to master it again. I've always thought the main message of SWKOTR was balance, Gray Side!
Great video! I don't know how I missed noticing it until now. I agree with your picks, and, although I know unlikely, would love to see live action films with Kyle Katarn, Starkiller, and Ahsoka Tano. I was hoping that in The Last Jedi Luke's statement "The Jedi must end" was related to a move to a more balanced view like the grey jedi held, but I guess no such luck. lol Thanks for making this great vid!

hahhaa u guys killing me i did not say it was real or anyting but well the theory " kinda " make sens haha
look it up :)
+Wilency Charles that would make sence in terms of ability (yes, leia was badass, look at the first movies for prof) but, no
"Remember your abilities in the force are neither good or evil... it's how you use them." - Jedi Master Kyle Katarn to his students Jayden Cor and Rosh Penin.
Yes! Revan is also one of my all time favorites as well!
Not only you forgot Jolee Bindo, you also missed Meethra Sutrik. And Darth Traya, who played both light and dark, betrayed both side, serving only the force as how she perceive it....
I Love how you listed Ahsoka as #1. Totally unexpected. She is my Favorite Star Wars Character. Nice video as always Stupendous Wave. :-)
She's my favorite too! You think she'll die in Rebels? I REALLY hope not
+True Star Wars Fan 18 i hope vader turns Ahsoka to the darkside...
+Mike Nite that would be so Awesome!
***** no
Josh Wilkins not saying it will be that way..just hoping it is..
You forgot Jolee Bindo
(Darth) Revan is definitely my favorite character of all time. But I would've put him a little higher on the list.
Great list. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Well Said I am glad people are still learning about this one...well done
Great list. Jolee Bindo should've been in here somewhere though.
Don't forget Jolee Bindo he saw "only in gray."!
Impress my friends, Nah, my friends would just laugh OF me. I AM like THE only person IN my clsss who like star wars( Great apo by THE way) love YOUR vids
Revan is one of my favorite Star Wars characters ever right in front of Draxent. Btw good job for not spoiling the major plot twist of KOTOR.
Flowing through all, there's Balance
There's no Peace without a Passion to create
There's no Passion without a Peace to guide
Knowledge stagnates without the Strength to act
Power is blinded without the Serenity to see
There's freedom in Life
There's purpose in Death
The Force is all things and I am the Force
You forgot Jolee Bindo from Knights of the Old Republic. Also technically the Jedi Exile, and all the force users she trained would also count as Grey Jedi since they were not members of the Jedi Order even though they help rebuild it.
don't forget kreia
Liam Geyer
Actually, wouldn't she be a Dark Jedi or a Grey Sith at the least.
Besides, I would label her more as a Grey Force User then anything for she never identify herself as Jedi as she said she left the life of the Jedi behind, and until the end of the game, she wasn't a Sith until it was time to test the Exile
fair point
Luke Skywalker is the greatest Gray Jedi. The New Jedi under Legends Luke were truly gray.
“For a Jedi there is no place for a rainbow Force,” Luke said quietly. “There is no room for compromise. We walk the path of the light side, or we fall into darkness. There is no gray area, Ben.”
~ Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker (Page 187 Fate of the Jedi, Book II: Omen)
Revan is #1 hands down.
Really love cade skywalker so much
OH WOW! More about an online Star Wars card game!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FRIEND!
I prefer these lists compared to his other videos.
The butchering of names is strong in this comment section
Anikin Sky Walker
Obee One Kinobe
Revin
Why don't you name a few
+TheInspire96
How about Asshokra?
Lax Bontiri?
Or maybe Captain Wrex?
+TheInspire96 Obama Won Kinoobi
Rivain
Haduuukin Skiwaker
DariusBlack
Shae Squawker?
+DariusBlack hahahahahaha
I'd say Qui-gon should be #1, considering he had the most effect on the franchise.
I love what you had to say on Katarn. It's also why he is one of my favourites.
My favourite was always Quinlan Vos, that guy ROCKED! And he managed to pull out of the Dark side under very hard circuimstances, which makes him a regular badass...
"All hail Lord Revan!"
Great list, but you forgot Jolee Bindo.
Be mindful of the future, but not at the expense of the moment.
People Jedi/Sith who have the force don't need to be as much because visions tell them what is going to happen.
I’m glad you included both Ahsoka Tano and Galen Marek in the same Video
(3:01) - My Deepest Personal Favorite Jedi !!!
1. Revan (Best Character in the Star Wars Universe imop)
2. Ahsoka Tano
3. Qui-Gon Jinn
4. Kyle Katarn
5. Quinlan Vos
agree i dont understand why they make a carakter like revan non cannon... hoping for rebels season 3 :)
This is true star wars lore for me, not the disney shitt.
damn right 👌
1. Revan
2. Starkiller
3. Kyle Katarn
Really? Katarn 3rd WHY!?!? What's so special about him beyond a video game
I need to incorporate some gray Jedi into my Tatooine Diaries show! I forgot how cool they could be. Thank you,
Queen of the Nerds Channel
Stupendous Wave, I think your list is a pretty sound one. The only change I would make if I was the one making this list would be to make Ahsoka Number 2 and Revan Number 1. Both of them had a tendency to not play by the rules of the Jedi Order, but the reason I would swap them is this: Ahsoka never tried to use the Dark Side to save others, but Revan did.
i would swap ahsoka with revan and the list is good
Revan wasn't as skilled as Ashoka
+Gecko G4ming LMFAO
+Gecko G4ming hahhahhhah :D
How can u say that, revan was a tank and ahsoka was ok
+Gecko G4ming Is there some evidence for that? How would you even compare them directly? Wasn't Revan known for being both a master swordsman as well as an adept user of both sides of the force? I'm not saying Ashoka's not strong, I just don't think it's particularly close between the two of them.
Revan > ahsoka
Revan is a Grey Jedi ? I Saw him as a normal Jedi gone dark then manipulated into returning to the light side. The rest depends on your choices in KOTOR.
MrCharlesdew the main choices are said in legends and other references through novels and games etc. he is after Star Wars kotor 2 is not a Jedi by using frowned upon methods like force lightning but is still a good guy until he was forced by the emperor to split into to force beings, but ultimately he was a grey Jedi until that forced state of good and bad.
The force was not made between the Jedi and the Sith but just the force.
Any of the list> Ashoka
ha funny. Ahsoka > Anyone on the list
Commander Thorn well ah guess everyone has opinions
Katarn taught me the basics in lightsaber conbat
i am so happy kyle katarn is on this list, i want more star wars games with him as the central role. Jedi outcast was amazing, its time we need new amazing games like those
Tbh after playing a bunch of kotor swtor and comics etc... Revan will always be my favorite Sith/Jedi
I always loved the fact that he keeps coming back to life :)
My definition of a grey jedi is a force user that uses both sides of the force.
If your detached from either side and able the proficient used the force and saber skills. It still counts as a grey jedi with both side, in my definition.
Galen Marek is my favorite Grey Jedi.
You mean Dark Jedi.
No, I meant exactly what I said.
+Nathan Andrews He changed about halfway through
-GALEN MAREK IS A SAVAGE GREY JEDI!
-Ashoka Tano is a beautiful Grey Jedi
-Qui-Gon is a wise Grey Jedi
-Reaven Is The LORD OF THE GREY JEDI AND THE SITH!
ALL HAIL LORD REAVEN!
I love love the fact that you always include Kyle Katarn! He's one of the most over looked yet important characters in Star Wars as a whole.
Great picks, and Revan was a surprise.
Kyle? Kyle Katarn? He looks like little more than a Bantha herder!
You should try playing the Jedi Knight video games, you can buy them on Steam.
That was a quote from Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. It was were Kyle get's his ass kicked by Dessan (however you spell that).
oh yeah, been a while, but it was on the mining planet where his pilot is "killed", right? (secretly she was only kidnapped)
Yeah, I played that fight for several minutes because I didn't realize you were supposed to lose
Thank you! What's so special about this dude? Yea has some cool achievements but when matched up against the big boys he just isn't in the same league... He's like a better in shape Han Solo with a lightsaber... Darth Caedus Stomped him and think about how many would have stomped Darth Caedus
Luke skywalker is the best grey Jedi!
Nope
Some people dont consider him as a gray jedi
+Brandon | ItzHowl/Syberal Im pretty sure that in the EU he became one
Who the hell cares if it's canon or not?! Not me.
+Alex Star it does matter
Ahsoka is the best she was fire in clone wars
you've earned a new subscriber.
Totally agree with this list!
5/7 good jab man!
Uhoh...need to reconsider Mace. He gots himself the purple lightsaber.
well why not? The jedi order doesnt force you to use a green or a blue one. btw it was the decision of his actor to use a purple lightsaber, so it most likely doesnt mean anything at all xD
***** ok then.
revan is da besssssst
Revan was likely the strongest of the Grey as he used both the light and dark to use the Force in a pure form which enabled him to almost kill Vitiate
Leon S I like that Revan turned away from force completely, for a time, and was able to master it again. I've always thought the main message of SWKOTR was balance, Gray Side!
revan has so much depth to his story. one of a kind.
