This is a Tool Assisted Speedrun of Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2's X Operations, achieving the grade "XS - Medical Prodigy", for the Nintendo DS.
From Power On to Final Input time is 16:18.500
RTA timing is: 16:02.200
What is a "Tool Assisted Speedrun" or "TAS"?
This speedrun was created with the use of TAStudio, an external piece of software to record inputs on exact frames, and BizHawk which is a multiplatform emulator.
Within about a week and a half, I spent about 15 hours creating this TAS and rendering it out. It's the third TAS I have created, and having worked on the full-run TAS for UtK2 as well, it gave me the much needed insight to trivialise the process.

Huge thanks to @leonmachar, and other members of the Trauma Center Speedrunning community who helped me tweak and adjust the TAS to achieve XS on these operations, while being as efficient as possible.
Extra care was put in to make the score either exact, or close to exact for the grade requirement.

Omg, this is hilarious. 😂 Good job TASing this. I just happened to look up a speedrun of this game after several years, and it's so refreshing to see this community is still alive with a new video from less than 2 weeks ago.

HOW DID YOU SURVIVE AT 0?!?!?!?
The vitals are in the code represented by a floating number, which is a decimal value. However, what gets represented on screen is the integer value/whole number, so in actuality, TAS at that point is anywhere between 0 and 1 (like 0.50 or 0.96)
