Thanks for watching and commenting. All the skunks should have bad backs from looking over their shoulders as they back into situations. There spines are hardly ever straight...
They’ve dealt with each other multiple times already! LoL Raccoon knows exactly how to handle the situation 🤣. There’s always aggression from Skunk cause they’re so scared, they’re very defenseless… but the fact the Racc can just lay on top of it while they both eat, shows A LOT…
Skunks are far from defenseless. They are a predatory animal belonging to the weasel family, their massive claws and sharp canines making them deadly to other animals.
Thanks for watching and commenting - We see a LOT of "butt aggression" as the animals back into the feeders to avoid face to face confrontations. Nature is amazing!
Thanks for watching and commenting - The "battle of the bums" is fun to watch - most of the critters use that approach to move into the feeder tray - check out my most recent clip - ua-cam.com/video/ZLNihdjbVls/v-deo.html
Thanks for watching and commenting - It sure looks like it has two tails. It is amazing and amusing that the critters come in such close contact without violent confrontations - just minor "butt aggression."
Thanks for watching and commenting. That seems to be a big part of the reason we hardly ever see them spray on cam - they don't want to contaminate a food source. It is truly amazing to see the interaction between skunks and raccoons and opossums. We have noticed that the skunks never seem to be willing to use their ultimate defense. It takes them up to 10 days to recharge after a full spray discharge so that leaves them defenseless for a while. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Yes - skunks and raccoons get along better with each other than they do with another skunk or another raccoon. We have had as many as five distinct species eating together at this feeder. Kind of cool to see. This is a clip by Country Pami - ua-cam.com/video/ppRXLA60VA8/v-deo.html
@@WRCatBWHQ when I was living in Texas I had a feral cat colony living in my back yard that I was taking care of. There were many times we would have the cats, skunks, raccoons and opossums eating together. We called it our League of Nations. Lol
I love the fact the skunk enters the frame butt-first. You see his tail before you see his face. Sums up the skunk personality perfectly lol

I don't think those raccoons care about the skunk's opinion

That’s funny. Raccoon is like “...I’ve smelled worse” haha
Surprisingly, the skunks rarely spray their ultimate weapon - especially around a source of food...

Reminds me of my hungry, hungry family at thanksgivin' elbowing out late for diner, hardy hardy har har

I wonder if skunks don't spray where they are eating.

@@WRCatBWHQ Thanks, I'll have a look. They are so cute really and it's great when you have recorded their sounds too.
@@GaliSinatra You're very welcome - hope you enjoy the clips...
Hilarious
They're like Sumo wrestlers - shoving each other
2:31 that looks like a wolf
No wolves around these cams - foxes and coyotes visit every so often
Where?
Skunk will rarely spray by food. I think the raccoons know this.
