    How to Save on Skincare Product Devices, Tools, & Equipment:
    1. Find out what company's product you want
    2. Find out who owns that company
    3. Search this company/brand on Import Yeti
    4. Find the suppliers that shipped certain products
    5. Search this supplier on Alibaba's Site and find products
    6. Negotiate/ contact seller for next steps
    For example, we see Herbivore is owned by the same brand, Herbivore Botanicals
    We Search this on Import Yeti here:
    www.importyeti...
    We see they purchase Gua Sha's from: Hongzhuo Trade
    www.importyeti...
    Then we search this company on Alibaba:
    Herbivore is buying the Gua Sha's sold at Sephora for $32+ for about $0.60
    www.alibaba.co...
    At Sephora: www.sephora.co...
    Note: this specifically works for mass produced products, not all products may appear, and this really works best for products made in China. The more expensive the product the more money you may be able to save. For cheaper products shipping costs probably end up making this unfeasable. For certain tools such as red light therapy panels, plasma pens, lasers, hair removal devices this may make sense. Just remember- buyer beware! Once the sale is completed you are likely on your own at that point.

      Isn't it crazy to see the "real" price of the products vs how much they charge when going through a middle man?!? Mind blowing- especially the markup on the Herbivore gua sha and jade roller. Definitely will use that for my next device.

    • @lucys4312
      @lucys4312 10 місяців тому

      @@NOBSBeauty Yes, it's crazy how much overhead they include in the final price. I learned this a few years ago from some creators, and since then, I've been consistently looking at and comparing prices on Chinese websites. I don't like jade rollers and gua shas; they tend to suck the skincare off my face and drag. I received a jade roller and a jade gua sha tool some years ago when I was subscribed to a beauty box, but I threw them away. But, I love, love the stainless steel scraper set (aka gua sha) that I purchased years ago on ali.

    This is what I needed. I have been searching for a better red/infrared pad or mat. I am having difficulty talking myself into the prices. I have had 3 pad replacements from the company that I chose on Amazon. The issues have been interesting. One of the bigger problems is the company using different cords and chargers that don’t align voltage-wise. Also the use of thin cords that fray in a few months.
    Thank you for sharing these “hacks” & options! 👏

    • @ScoobyDoosMom
      @ScoobyDoosMom 3 місяці тому

      Since you mentioned cords, I thought it was worth mentioning that Omnilux (probably one of the two most popular manufacture of LED masks for face, chest and hands) warrantees the actual devices for two years but the controllers that are required to use them are only warranted for one year. They said it’s because they can’t control if people over charge the chargers, so if they break, you have to purchase them again. They’re only $15 but I thought it was kind of shady that they only warranty part of the device when the controller is an integral part; you can’t use the device without it. It’s been a pretty shady company to deal with it getting the answers that I needed and The company they sell, their extended warranties through (Extend), Who is incidentally, the same company that their main competitor Current Body (who sells the $2500 DermaLux panel) uses, won’t provide a lot of specifics about things that they might not cover under warranty. They directed me back to the manufacturer and said they only take the claims but the manufacture is the one who determines what is covered in the extended warranty. That’s in direct contradiction to what the company told me. I just found these companies pretty shady to deal with which has made me nervous in purchasing from them.

    Another UA-camr provided a three page spreadsheet of the most popular red light, facemasks, neck, and chest, masks, and hand masks and panels with all the specs of each. I’ve done an extreme amount of research on The warranties because if I’m going to spend 1500 to 2500 pre-tax, I want to know that if one of the lights goes out or the controller that’s required to operate it breaks, that it’s covered. Curious if you use both a panel and the facemask or which you prefer. I was leaning towards the panel so I could use it also in areas for pain (not that I’m sure how great it will be because they won’t provide the necessary information that would determine that) But I’m told the lights are so bright even with the goggles and if you’re wearing the goggles, then you’re not getting the wrinkles around your eyes and would also need a facemask or one of those sets of LED glasses on top of the cost of the panel. With the facemasks, they have cut outs for the eyes, but they still have LED lights treated the skin around the eyes. I can’t afford both facemask on the piano, so that’s been a tough one for me. If I get the facemask, I’d also get the neck and chest and the hand one. Would love to hear your thoughts. I was actually going to message you to see if you used red light, as I hadn’t seen you review any red light devices and then I found this video. I think we’d all love to see your reviews on a red light device. I don’t think I’ve seen a single one on here that wasn’t sponsored or given to their influencer for free so seeing you review on my big amazing.

    • @ScoobyDoosMom
      @ScoobyDoosMom 3 місяці тому +1

      This actually makes me really nervous to hear. My understanding from all my research including dermatologist Dr. Dray, I believe, is that blue light is the only one that would cause hyperpigmentation, but I checked on the current body one doesn’t emit blue light as an option so if you got it from rad or near infrared light, that makes me afraid to spend the money. Just goes to show that all the doctors and all the research can be wrong. I would be so mad if I spent all that money and ended up with hyper pigmentation. Were you able to return the device?

    This makes me wonder who’s the supplier for the JOVS 4D Laser Light Therapy Mask
    The JOVS mask is a lot more advanced than Omnilux, currentbody, etc. in my opinion.
    Not only it’s contoured 3d based off a face, but also it offers 2 extra inferred wavelengths (940nm and 1060nm), which is way more superior than its peers.

    • @ScoobyDoosMom
      @ScoobyDoosMom 3 місяці тому

      Thanks for mentioning this one. I just checked it out and was disappointing to see that they cut out the entire area, not just the spot for your eyes but all across, so there’s no light therapy around the crows feet or the area under the eyes. I wonder why not? I really wanted a panel but everyone says the light is so bright you need to wear the goggles and then I would need to purchase those LED glasses on top of the panel which is a whopping $2495 Plus the extended warranty, if you get it. I love the idea of saving money, but any of these bulbs could go out for any reason, and I don’t wanna get stuck with having bought some thing that isn’t covered.

I do like you can see how long each company has been a vendor so when I purchased my stuff I searched for companies that had been around for 5 or more years. Red light therapy is still so new and more and more research comes out every year showing it to be beneficial in many different ways. I'll have to do an updated video on this topic because I find it just fascinating how it all works. As Sarah mentioned, it's akin to you going to the manufacturer/factory/lab yourself and source the product, vs you buy it from a company, which everything is already sus-ed out (all the paperwork, efficacy, build quality... etc) for you. There are scams, but there are also good products on there, but you really need to do all the work yourself to figure out if the product is really worth it.
