  • In the ME/CFS scene, people talk about recoveries and relapses all the time. Sharing your recovery story becomes the ultimate goal of your healing journey. But what if this is not helpful at all? There are no rules for chronic diseases; they are different. Chronic diseases no longer apply to normal life, but the desire to return to life can be a significant source of stress. Let go of all the thoughts, beliefs, concepts, and ideas around your chronic disease instead. Go back to the very basics of your experience. You will then know that you either have symptoms or not. The rest is just a story that we tell ourselves.
    Whether you have Long-Covid, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, Lyme, or any other label, keep it simple and know what kind of symptoms you are experiencing. Then, via the Release program, you will learn how to find the root stressor of that symptom in your body. Once you release this stressor, your symptoms will either improve or disappear. That's all.

    Can you elaborate on what a “stressor” is? It is a trauma? A bad experience? Something from childhood? A coping mechanism? And do you use somatic therapy to release it?

    • @releasecfs
      @releasecfs  2 місяці тому

      @@emilielove_ yes it is usually an emotion or trauma, but of course related to a bad experience, memory, etc. We find the stressor that is causing the current symptoms and release that with a number of different tools. Part of it is somatic.

    What do you think of people who are on the spectrum, I got diagnosed with ADHD as an adult but I suspect I may also have autism? why is it so hard for us to find jobs?

      Hi Mariana, It's hard to generalize big groups of people. But I do believe that people with autism are very sensitive.

      @@releasecfs Okay 😢 Although I didn't take it myself, it felt good that there was a "free" alternative in this very expensive cfs space. Gave me some hope in humanity lol

      @@relaxationstation2928well, a free program made me lose a lot of hope for humanity. I think the world isn't ready for it yet.

      People don't value things that are free, and I think many ultimately end up doing paid programs because they psychologically think they're more likely to work.
      Daniel's program is super cheap compared to a lot of others. And I think a lot better. In reality, no one should have to do a free program, everyone needs to make a living.
      There's definitely very cheeky people in this space making enormous amounts of money for average programs though. One in particular must be raking in over a million a year. I did the maths.
