MOTF has been living, breathing, and sleeping Primalist levelling for the last few weeks, definitely a solid guide to check out for anyone looking to play the class in 1.0!
really glad to see an upload here. I tuned in just to see what the game was about and getting something digestible regarding said same game has made me interested in it. Hope to see more of these MOTF
When this build was created, gathering storm didn't exist yet. Though I will say I testing gathering storm today and do believe for the purpose of leveling it is strictly weaker, but some late game builds such as tornado will make GREAT use of that skill
@@MOTFGAMES generally, i found best way to level was to run tempest strike and stack attackspeed. I suggest disabling 2/3 tempest and getting that node to make tempest strike 0. till then your struck with mp regen as a stat. the nodes that are really good for early leveling is 1 of shaman nodes is every time you place a totem, you gain 25% free attackspeed and one of druid nodes is called wind of fury. it gives 15% attackspeed. between tempest nodes, 2 passives and 2 weapons, you easily get like 100% attackspeed.
@@dodang_9147 Now a days, this might actually be true. I've been looking into using tempest for leveling aswell, but back when this video was made it was far from the case. Always a good idea to look into whats changed!
@@MOTFGAMES swipe leveling works but i think your suppose to use thorn totem with summon spaggan if you go that leveling route. stack minion damage, summon 3 thorn totems then swipe melee those totems. I just didn't want to invest in pet stuff so I just went for straight melee. Unfortunately, I am trying create avalanche critical shaman so I do had to swap swipe due to build i was pushing for. If I went storm totem build, then I can see tempest maybe working
@dodang_9147 because of how quickly you can respec into any builds I never really consider what I'm transitioning into late game at all, even going so far as to playing shadow cascade builds to level bow masters. I've leveled around 20-ish different characters and at this point I value the time it takes to reach 50-60 over any thing else with as little prep as possible. But at the end of the day, part of what I like about this game is there's no real way to "waste" your time or brick a character so there's no reason to not just try all different kinds of methods. Hope you have fun with avalanche. It's a pretty neat build!
On primalist passive tree theres a node in the middle of the second column called harmony of blades. You to have that to dual weird, and the item must be a one handed axe or sword. Hope this helps!

how are you dual wielding? on mine, it wont let me.
