Their personality changes so much depending on the shape. The first one you made looks young and sassy to me while the one you made with us looks like a startled older cat. What a fun project. Your caning videos are my absolute favorite. Oh and it's interesting to see how much the face changed when you reduced it. Feels like the eyes reduced less than the black which is so interesting since you did make the clay for the eyes softer. I still learn ao much from watching your videos and I feel privileged that an industry celebrity like you is sharing this valuable knowledge for free.
Yup, so much depends on the placement of the eyes. wide eyes make an animal or person look younger to me. so glad you liked this class and that you like caning! me, too. hugs, d
Very nice...I can see a penguin, I was thinking of owls a few minutes ago when the extra black was conditioned. I have been making a shopping list from various online Australia stores selling Kato. White seems unavailable right now with pearl and translucent being closest. Also the conditioning bar (especially handy for me purchasing old old stock that gets to the $2 shops. 🙃.) Blackening agent & a liquid clay. Surprisingly the local online shops charge postage too unlike overseas which generally do free shipping over $$$. Anyhow...thanks . I wonder if the entire room will be smoothed in black clay by time I get done. 😊
Speaking of color, I think that lovely mauvy-pink of your nail polish would also make a lovely kitten nose.
So stinkin' cute, Donna. May your creativity never waver!
Meow....what a cutie of cat. Thanks Donna. ❤🐾
