Same for me! I just took off the bottom plate and lightly twisted the connectors and scraped a flathead screwdriver along the sensor part - the one he replaced, and it worked!!!! Thanks to Mr. Ali and LG. Let's see if it holds up, but, now, at least, I know how to tweak it to get more use out of the pot. Very grateful to all for your input!
Your video helped us since support said they would only give 15 percent off new one since not under warranty. My husband says he took off and cleaned contacts on the existing pressure switch and any old school mechanic can do this. Working good as new without replacing the part.
Before you go and order a new part I would try to adjust the sensors. mine had this white gummy resin covering the adjusting screws but I just dug a little screwdriver in there and fiddled with them while the unit was on upside down and when the c6l error disappeared and it just read off I knew it was fixed. 👍
I just tried cleaning mine and looks like I’ll have to replace sensor. It’s probably at least 5-6 years old. Looking forward to it being up and running again. Was the sensor option “C” on Amazon?
Ok, I cleaned my switch with air compressor and electrical contact cleaner and it worked. If that doesn’t work I’ll buy a new pressure switch. But it cooked beans and is keeping them warm for the past 2 hours.
For anyone else coming here and asking the question, the answer is yes. These sensors don't come calibrated as this can only be done once it's connected in the actual machine. It's not difficult to do but it does require a little knowledge. Not calibrating the sensor once connected could lead to the machine not switching off at high pressure and thus you'll have steam trying to escape a sealed pressure cooker, and if you have a dual sensor (low and high) then the reverse is true too in that the low pressure sensor may not switch on at the correct low pressure and thus you'd get under cooked results.

I did the same thing I just cleaned the pressure sensor, unscrew it and cleaned it, and put it back. It worked no need to replace it. Give it a try!
How do you clean it? Which part is the contacts?
Right I would like to know what to clean also I have the bottom open and it all looks clean

Thank You for the video. Replacing the pressure sensor fixed the problem extending the life of the instant pot.
Just cleaned the sensor and it worked fine. I just removed the white glue off the top and sprayed it with electrical contact cleaner. Works great now.

Great work, but wish someone else was holding the camera for your hardwork
Those are special spade connectors just pinch the end and it will pull right off with no resistance.
Do You mean pinch? Sorry I am German and I don't understand the word pitch (even with a translator)
@@GinSoul Yes my bad
Does after that no need to calibrate the pressure?
