Nice review, I’ve had this watch for a few years and it’s by far the best tool watch I own. The depth rating of 200m is great for a field watch style timepiece. Sapphire crystal, low profile monocoque case, and large crown all make it an excellent choice for a daily wear watch. I’d argue that the capacitor isn’t as prone to go into sleep mode if the watch is charged fully; 6 months on a full charge makes it easy to switch to a dress watch for a day or two without concern. The capacitor has a life span of 35 years, it should be at 80% capacity at that point. All in all I think that this promaster is a really singular piece out of the lineup. But that date window, what a mistake. So small, recessed, difficult to read. I could go without it all together.
The empty metal bezel and the H-Link bracelet look super super awesome on this. Citizens are so underrated. I also had my eyes on the BJ7100, another steel bezel. But this looks much cleaner.
I was thinking about getting this watch and your review popped up. I always look forward to your reviews, especially regarding men's fragrances. I just now purchased this watch, and it will be my third Citizen. Great watches. Keep up the good work and take care.
Great review. I’ve been wanting to try one of these for awhile, my main concern is like you said, the size and weight, and I have a 7.25” wrist. I think this watch would have been amazing at the old Promaster Tough Ray Mears proportions of 40mm, with 20mm lug width and bracelet and maybe a 48mm L2L length.

Both great options. I have both watches but the GMT I got it in gunmetal. No regrets!

Where did you find it? Now it's out of stock. :(
I'm glad I got one before it was discontinued. I don't know why they stopped making them.
It will still scratch 😢
Please rehearse your speech. The umms are painful to hear. Watch is great. I have the black version.
What a dick! go make your own video then!
