  • Verizon-owned Visible has made big changes to its service. The low-cost provider now offers two unlimited plans starting at $30 a month. Both plans include unlimited talk, text, data and mobile hotspot. The more expensive plan includes access to Verizon's fastest 5G and 50GB of premium data. With these changes, Visible is ending its popular Party Pay discount program. LEARN MORE ABOUT VISIBLE HERE: visible.pxf.io/Yg937R

    I just switched to Visible from Mint. The reason was the monthly vs. yearly billing. Unfortunately, I live in Malibu, and I can't get service on PCH. I also use WIFI calling at the house and for some reason it drops calls a lot. Mint Mobile never did this. I ordered sim cards from US Mobile and will test their service and see how it goes. They sent both Verizon and T Mobile sim cards to test. I appreciate the video's.

    • @MichaelSaves
      @MichaelSaves  Рік тому +1

      With the $25/month plan, I believe you got 5G Ultra Wideband with speeds capped at 200 Mbps. I do not believe that has changed with the $30/month plan. I was told by Visible a 200 Mbps cap would stay, and most of my speed tests are below 200 Mbps so far. In addition, Visible says this on its website: "5G Nationwide + 4G LTE includes a combination of 5G Ultra Wideband, 5G Nationwide, and 4G LTE network services." With the 5G Ultra Wideband that you get with Visible+, it's not capped at 200 Mbps. I think that's the distinction. So the cheaper plan may get 5G UW that's capped as part of that "combination," but only the Visible+ plan gets the true 5G Ultra Wideband speeds. They probably did it this way for marketing purposes. For you, I would expect the $30 plan to be very similar to the plan you already have -- with the addition of the domestic roaming and lower ping. I hope this is helpful.

    Okay having any sort of truly unlimited data on a smartphone for $30 that also has unlimited hotspot is ground breaking but I would not go premium because the data allowance for premium is too little to be beneficial since the point of extra bandwidth is productivity. La-people don't understand how much data an iPhone actually uses because they are using mostly html based apps and iPhone by default is set to wifi only for high level apps and task like Facebook messenger,zoom and icloud . I had used over 1TB of data on a iPad from icloud and zoom while working CRM but I use a minimum of 300gb just zoom chatting friends but visible standard plan was able to do all of this. Visable temperately slowed down during the afternoon but has stoped being noticable since the network update. Maybe migrate right on over to the new network, meaning the Verizon only network verses having to be stuck right on Visibles Cloud Core network?? Visible is no longer using Cloud Core network, which explains the newly launched $30 Dollar Visible/ $45 Dollar Visible+ plan.

    Question. What is “premium data “? Thanks.

    • @MichaelSaves
      @MichaelSaves  Рік тому +1

      Sure! With Visible's base plan, your data is deprioritized. That means during times of traffic you'll get slower speeds than other Verizon customers. With Visible's premium plan, called Visible+, you get 50GB of premium data per month on the 5G Nationwide and 4G LTE networks. So when the network is busy, you won't be slowed down for the first 50GB! And when you're connected to 5G Ultra Wideband (the fastest 5G), you will always get priority data with Visible+. I do not have priority data -- I have the cheaper plan. My experience with Visible has been very good. But some people have complained about the slower speeds, so Visible+ may be a good choice for them.
